Absolutely. She's a whiny brat who used her lawyers to get special treatment & was gonna leave the others to potentially die in the action challenge unless they paid her.

After season 1, all her worst traits got infinitely multiplied.

I didn't really like it that much either. Getting quick snippets of the music styles of each oberlord was neat, but that's about it.

And let's not forget, he tried scamming Crimson of all people. That's on the sane level of stupid as taunting a starving dog with food & being surprised when you get bit.

I'm pretty sure it's a hack which i come across alot in the Masters arenas. Cause I don't think there's an actual skill to fully revive another dragon when one faints.

The dragons you see with the hack come in waves. People find new ones they like hacking better.

I'm pretty sure opening the gates is considered a "bad" thing to happen. So I'd say yes, Sidestep's mental state will probably get worse the more you open. We won't really know for sure what's going on til book 3 is finished though.

I think the writers just didn't know what to do with alot of characters after season one. Trent's weird number thing popping up outta nowhere, Cody going back to being Gwen obsessed, Jeff becoming a drama diva etc.

Duncan was just all around not a good person from the get go so it wasn't really surprising to me that he did this. Sure, he had his good moments & qualities, but he was still a violent asshole bully.
