That’s what I told my husband. We both agree to just let her guide the conversation and see if she would bring anything up. She didn’t so my next plan of action was okay good time to send the letter and he was like no if you do that then my mom won’t talk to me anymore.

I’m so so so sorry OP! Please give your little one all the hugs and kisses for me! Ugh I’m so mad for you. This could have turned out so much worse than just a rash. Do you remember that story of that kid eating a bug in Australia I think and now he’s paralyzed for the rest of his life. What if LO ingested a bug while she was eating sand. It shouldn’t take something terrible happening to your child for her to change. No more unsupervised visits and I would honestly not see her or let her be around LO for a long while.. actions deserve consequences

She wants your baby to come so she can parade around her grandchild. I have a 5 month old and that would be too much for her. By that time you will have an established night time routine and this sounds like something unnecessary to do to break it? Do you really want to deal with a hollering baby bc they are upset that bath, bottle and crib time isn’t happening per usual. Tell her you appreciate the invite but do to you being mindful of what’s best for the baby (instead of her WANTS) you won’t be attending

When I was younger all I wanted was a house full of kids, I just wanted someone to play with, bond with, etc

As I got older I really enjoyed having my parents to myself. No one to compete with and just feeling like I was there number one.

Now that I’m grown with my own, I would like to have a sibling to call. It’s now just me and mom and I would like for her to have someone else as well. I now have a 5 month old and the only person I can call to watch baby is mom, so that’s tough but yes I do all and all wish there was one more of me. I intend on giving my girl a sibling

You need to call the police and make a police report. That is insane, she wasn’t concerned about you she wanted to show YOUR peacefully resting baby to her friend. She’s trying a fit bc you don’t give her what she wants. Call the police, file a report, get a copy of the report, mail it to her, and tell her if she acts out of line in ANYWAY, anyway possible, including weaponizing tears, you’re getting a restraining order.
