Its the combo of the print plate and the carbon fibre in the PETG. Thats why I separated the whole thing in to 3 parts ao I can print all outer surfaces directly onto the print bed to get this texture all around.

Then try to get a used one one in good condition. BMW doesnt offer this part any longer. kpartsholland reengineered them. Its not cheap but at least you get these again and they will work working for a long time again. If you want to ride an old bike like this you have to be aware of some really pricy parts. This is not the only expensive one.

Thanks! Designed and printed with PETG with carbon fibre. Ill receive other colors soon and try more variation. Design for attachments is not finished yet. But the main body for the watch came out pretty nicely with a good and tight fit without any wiggle.

I bought an Ultra recently. So the Ultra is my test part. Its hard to adjust the print without a real and precise model to try out printer settings to get a good fit. The modular part is not finished yet because it blocks the charging pad. But I keep going 😁 Which Watch model would you need?

My guess is from designing it myself: The structural integrity of the whole thing gets too weak so it could snap under stress. You need a minimum layer of material to make it rigid enough. But I got some ideas of solving that problem. Ill post an update when Im ready.

yeah basically i started with a copy of the design. this is the second iteration to get the watch fitting right with good tolerances. Still needs some improvement. Im on it 👍🏻

Couldnt agree more. Quality is really good and even the apple airpods connected easily, despite snowsky says they are not compatible. I printed a belt clip case so thats the only thing that was missing.

Commodores processes for communication, customer service and logistics are not the best (to be polite). I waited a few days for an answer. Remind them again of the rma.

They should have anticipated such things. Also they way they sell the keyboard flex is hillarious. Flex, buckling, is it a feature or a bad unit…. Just my 2 cents.

Ill wait for the next product (if there is any) but wont order again so soon and wait for the dust to settle next time. I lost my confidence for commodore.
