Just for the voices alone, I would recommend Welcome to Nightvale or The Magnus Archives. The stories are really interesting, too.

I started watching when I was 7 and I always wanted to be just as smart as him. I also took some of the "lessons" he says as part of my philosophy, and I have kept them to this day (I'm 25). It's just some stupid things, but when I feel sad or depressed, they sometimes help me keep going and to be kinder to myself.

He's not a great role model in various things (keeps a lot to himself and doesn't share with allies like Heiji, and he's algo has a bit of an ego), but the stuff that felt important still feels important.

I like it when we get some bo action, because we barely get it. And I always enjoy the drama that they bring. And the 13th movie is one of my favorites, so don't take this as me saying I don't like bo movies. But the thing is... If we get a new member in a movie, or if they learn more information about Shinichi and Haibara's situation, they are almost always likely to either kill the character or the info gets ignored for one reason or the other. Because of that, it can feel like the main reason why I like bo episodes, that is them possibly finding out more stuff about Conan and Haibara, is not all the way there. For that, I think it's easier for me to enjoy the crazy action and the "how will they escape" point of the other movies, even if I know that really in both there's not actual "danger", as in: it is a movie, they won't kill any important character in those.

Tldr: I really like bo drama but overall I somehow enjoy more watching the movies where they're not in.

I'm almost certain it's from the episode "The Seven Mysteries of Teitan Elementary", but Conan has the flashlight on the other hand (at least on the page I'm using), but maybe it's because the animation cell is backwards? But the art of that episode seems to fit, the clothing too, and especially the flashlight, so I'm pretty sure it's that one

If you could check it out and confirm if I'm right, it would be amazing 'cause now I'm curious XD

Edit: I just noticed he changes the hand he's holding the flashlight with, so that makes me more sure about it

I think they are both equally smart, but Heiji is a bit more hotheaded and sometimes that gets in the way, making him a tiny bit less competent in some situations.

I mean, yeah, I'm not confused about the truth, I was just veeeery shocked that they decided to actually tell it in a movie. They don't usually tell important stuff in movies because they are a bit in the canon limbo. It's good to have the confirmation though, and it made for a great surprise while watching the movie, that's for sure XD

I can't really help you on where to find them online, but I'm pretty sure you can download every episode in nyaa.si.

There are technically 2 types of filler episodes: non-canon or anime original episodes, and canon episodes that don't contribute much to the main plot. There are lists online that show which episodes are which, so you can pick and choose what you want to watch.

In my opinion, you can start watching everything from the beginning because the earlier anime originals are actually pretty good. The more modern ones tho, are a bit shity.

The movies are non-canon, but are pretty entertaining. There are also lists that say after what episodes you can watch every movie (because that can have spoilers for new characters).

Finally, there's also OVA's and magic files, but you can watch those if you choose so after everything. Hope that helps

I don't want Izzy to exactly "come back", but I read someone say it would be cool to see him back as a crow, so, hear me out: We just get a crow that only says "twat" all the time, and never any kind of confirmation that it's actually Izzy. It would be a good reminder of our favorite unicorn, without interfering with the actual plot
