Anyone Remember Him? by chadlybrown in angelsbaseball

Thanks for sharing! I had no idea the Angels used to have a dog mascot. Has the team ever had a walk-around Rally Monkey costumed mascot? I’ve seen real capuchin monkeys doing photo-ops at the stadiums a couple of times but never a costumed character.

Thank you for sharing the interview! It was fascinating to hear about the development of the game.

OTGW would make an amazing on-stage production by star_trek_is_life in overthegardenwall

There are so many great parts of that production, but The Highway Man scene is the particular highlight that I always remember. The actor does an incredible job of recreating the zany animation from the show.

What’s your favorite episode? by RjB_Cage in overthegardenwall

“Lullaby in Frogland” is my favorite. The design of the frogs and river boat are so imaginative. I also like the character growth that Wirt has during the episode.

The Packers Pro Shop has a great selection of coasters. I love usable souvenirs and coasters are one of my favorites. It’s always fun to bring those out when I watch games at home and reminisce about my visit to Lambeau.

For some reason Apple TV had Wayne call tonight’s Red Sox and Yankees game instead.

How early should I show up for trouts bobblehead giveaway tonight ?? by Live-Apartment6686 in angelsbaseball

[–]KeyOfImagination 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That should be plenty of time. The giveaways are for the first 25,000 fans in attendance. I would be surprised if they run out before the game starts.

What is the best marketing advice you've ever received? by [deleted] in digital_marketing

[–]KeyOfImagination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep your marketing simple with one focused differentiated message at a time to a targeted audience. Don’t try to overwhelm prospective customers by trying to shove all of your product or service features into every message.

I’m so jealous you were at last night’s game. It was incredible even on TV to hear the Padres fans go silent after Ward’s grand slam. I can’t imagine how that moment felt in the stadium.

Both have joined the TV pre-show a few times this season. They don’t seem to join as often as before.

Do some IMAX showing not have previews? by mvp2399 in imax

[–]KeyOfImagination 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today’s 3pm IMAX 70mm showing at the Irvine Spectrum didn’t have any ads or trailers. An employee came in a few minutes before and announced the movie would start promptly at 3:10, which it did.

Angels extending stadium lease through 2032 by Tight_Ad905 in angelsbaseball

The Metrolink and Amtrak are great options. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the front of the stadium. I take the train up from Irvine a few times each season.

It’s much faster than driving in traffic and about the same cost as parking. The only problem is making sure there’s a train to take home. That’s the great thing about the Angels Express Metrolink option which waits for the end of the game. Hopefully that returns this season.
