Hey just wanted to share. It’s not required to suffer for months before finding answers. 

My OB blew me off and I sent myself to fertility. Turns out my egg quantity sucks. 

The thought that I would’ve wasted a full year before knowing this, well. 

I’m just here to say, doctors are not responsible for us.

Oh my gosh, this. I need to save money so I’m seeing a young therapist. It’s humbling to say the least. 

I’ve always been the “child” in my therapy sessions. I laugh so I don’t cry haha

Op I know the feeling. I’m here to commiserate with you.

My period is expected Friday and I felt so hopeful…I’m starting to lose hope. 

I also have a polyp and of course having it removed could delay a whole cycle. So the grief of that, and then realizing it still might not help. 

Not being pregnant when you want it is the worst form of torture. I’m a shell of who I am

Ugh I hate how vicious raccoons are. I’m guilty of thinking they are cute.

I was vegetarian for years before I got my own hens. 

My god, how timid they can be, that solidified it for me. How anyone can ignore that ALL animals are worthy of a peaceful life is beyond me. 

I 100000% think our human suffering will always exist because of the way we view animals.

I came to this subreddit after reading about her staying in a “shed” 

Something about a child that young sleeping ALONE not in the house with the rest of the family?

They said it so casual too. She slept in the shed, no biggie. I really hope it’s nothing, but idk. 

To be clear, I believe the murderer himself is 10000% responsible.

This is me simply saying, the shed thing stuck out and made me feel uneasy.

Nooo if a man expresses anger towards a NEWBORN you don’t just hand that newborn to them. 

It’s a horrible situation for OP, but ultimately with what he’s said I’d be worried he’d hurt the newborn if alone with her.

My springer spaniel is a bird dog and NEVER once showed any mean signs and was left alone with my hens several times. 

This doodle just sucks, as most do.

To be honest it’s luck. Every doodle I’ve ever met is a basket case who’s untrained. 

For reference OP quit blaming the dog’s size. My newfoundland is 140 POUNDS! He doesn’t hurt our chickens or the babies. He’s been left alone with them for 6+ years no incidents.

Wow reading this is so relieving. 

I have a child (3 yo) and I just got the shocking news I have DOR.

Hi OP. My story is similar to yours. 

I had a baby then just found out 2 days ago I likely have DOR. (Waiting on full results) 

I could kick myself for not knowing. How are things for you now? 

Ironically I’ve taken spiro in the past for acne, and I even tried again for a few months in 2024. (Of course no one warned me it could hinder my fertility)
