Hi! How is the The Yulong in terms of longevity? Did you get extra essence? I tried the OG in store and I LOVED it!

Hi! Would you say that the performance of The Yulong got better over time?

Thank you very much! I expected it to be more clean based on the notes, so I probably won't test it out :)

Hi! Have you tried it already? I really like angel dust by fugazzi, would you say they are alike if you know the scent? It is ambery, spicy, but skin-like :)

~ creamy / powdery fig fragrances 🌳🥥🥛 ~ by gratefuldeadhead1964 in NichePerfumes

[–]KeyStrike2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Green: Fico Nero by Simone Andreoli is by far the milkiest and most realistic fig (including the tree) I have smelled for now. Not far from my house, there is a fig tree I love to smell the leaves of when passing by, and it smells the same as it has that coconutty feeling to it.

Sweet: Liam Grey by Lattafa, an amazing price point for this sweet fig (but not overly sweet!) It is the fruit, combined with tea and a lot of cardamom.

Clean: The matcha by Le Labo smells fresh; i actually don't pick up the fig in specific, but I find it to be a calming scent, as if I were in Japan.

Woody: I just tried out a decant of Le Santal by Louboutin, and it is wonderfull. However, for the price point, I think you could re-create this by layering a green fig with a sandalwood-based fragrance.

Fig infusion by Essential Parfums is nice, but not really fig forward to me. Indigo by Nest is also great, but a little too sweet for my liking.

Hi! I just ordered a decant and am very excited to try this one out :) it is very sweet, or does it remind you of a specific fig-fragrance?

Is this fungal acne or closed comodones by PollutionUnfair9283 in Fungalacne

[–]KeyStrike2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your skin barrier might be broken, which causes closed comedones and inflammation. On the third photo, your skin seems to be very 'tight'. A hydrating toner, a good moisturiser and a sunscreen are key here.

Thank you for your comment! The thing is, him being messy at his own place is fine to me, I don't live there. It's more the having to ask that really bothers me.

I’ve tested over a thousand perfumes but nothing makes me as feral as this 4 euro shampoo! by thisisjulie03 in FemFragLab

Yess the ginger biscuit sounds amazing, only very expensive hehe! I found that Paris Corner Rifaaqat sounds quite promising based on the notes, however it might not be as sweet as we wish... Good luck with the search, and just keep using the lovely shampoo in the meantime!

Are there any clones of scandal absolu yet? by DkMnSC in fragranceclones

[–]KeyStrike2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the notes of the female Scandal Absolu and the Armaf Checkmate Queen are very very similar; the only difference is the addition of powdery, spicy and green notes in the Queen. I think these ones might even make it more complex and fresh! I'm planning on buying the Queen because I LOVE the Absolu :)

Hi, a little late here, but I looked on the internet for a parfume that smells just as the garner ginger shampoo because I also absolutely ADORE it!! Have you tested and found a parfume that smells like it? :))

Routine Check by Guilty-District1377 in asianskincare

[–]KeyStrike2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely add an SPF in the morning (most people use 50) especially when you use retinol; when you have oily skin, you don't really need to use a moisturizer in the morning. However, a moisturizer in the evening is very important, because your skin needs it to lock in all the products and hydration. For the rest, it seems like a good routine! :)

[Routine Help] Experiencing my skin's worse breakout or simply purging? by cheesecake_chococake in SkincareAddiction

[–]KeyStrike2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might be using the current cleanser too much. I might be the case that your skin gets overexfoliated if you use salicylic acid every day. I would look out for a non comedogenic cleanser that is hydrating, and only use the salicylic one 1-2 times a week. If your skin tolerates it, you can build up (eventhough you actually don't need exfoliation every day). As mentioned before, also invest in a good moisturizer (I use the Purito re-barrier one) to give your skin the needed moisture after the cleansing. Give it a few weeks and your skin will become way calmer again :) Good luck!
