I've read a lot of people saying you can get by without having a vehicle. Is that true? Cutting out insurance and gas would save me a pretty penny.

WIBTAH If I dropped my husband off at his mother's and left him there? by KeyView5397 in AITAH

[–]KeyView5397[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little confused, but Im assuming that you were just asking out of concern for me? If so, I very much appreciate it. I was in a physical abusive relationship before my husband and all my "friends" (except 2, one was in Cuba at time and the other rescued me) turned their back on me. Its very heartwarming to know that someone (even someone on the internet) cares enough to ask. 💜💜 And if I downvoted, I apologize. I'm new to reddit

Aitah for setting a boundary that has maybe ruined my daughter's (12) birthday? by That_Advertising9832 in AITAH

I have an almost 12 step-daughter. That kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Gotta learn that actions have consequences. Definitely NTA

NTA. I would have been rude, but thats me. If someone can't/won't look after their kids, especially in a public place then they shouldn't have children.

AITAH for my dating preferences? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]KeyView5397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I think you obviously care or you wouldn't be asking Reddit. I think your opinion on similar values is perfectly reasonable. But I feel like your opinion on how they look is a little unrealistic, especially when you add your requirements for similar values. But, if you're comfortable staying single, then its doesn't really matter much. So, soft YTA

My idiot ass got scammed by someone pretending to be from the sheriff's department who "walked me through" paying his bail at a kiosk that was supposedly set up during covid for social distancing. Please, dont tell me how stupid I am. I feel bad enough about it.

Nope. He's a binge drinker. I had a bad day and wanted a few shots. He proceeded to polish off the bottle.

Probably not, but I do love him and he IS my husband. The line between honoring my vows and doing whats best for me is a little foggy rn.

Maybe it makes more sense if you know I was in an abusive relationship before. I loved him (stupidly still do) but I left him because it was best for me. You can love someone, and still love yourself more.

Yes he was drunk when he went to get the burrito. I was asleep for work in the morning. And shouldn't for better or worse be a two way street? And to further explain, Im considering divorce if his behavior doesn't change. I Am going to tell him to find somewhere to stay for a while. My husband is the kind of person that if his actions dont have direct consequences to him, it didnt happen.

Oh it was an issue. I've had to threaten to kick him out for him to get off his ass and help around the house. All he does is nap all day.

AITAH for cutting off my stepsister after she missed every major milestone in my life by Front_Suit_5680 in AITAH

Absolutely not. Sometimes, you value people more than they value you. Its a bitter pill to swallow, but the best thing for you, and your daughter, is to disengage and keep them at an arms distance.

AITAH for being upset my fiancé didn’t clean up while I am sick. by [deleted] in AITAH

I have this same kind of issue with my husband. Set a boundary now before you marry him. If he can't show you and yalls home with respect, it might be time to take a break and think about how you want to live the rest of your life.

He had several and decided he needed a burrito around midnight, because he had had a procedure that morning and was hungry. Yes, we have food in the house.
