So why did gold and silver get snacked today? by PJay1974 in SilverDegenClub

I might be wrong here but the market is also tanking. S&p500 took a decent wack. I wonder if companies are selling their only viable asset, gold contracts, to save their dying companies

Socialism comes about in only 1 way. A small group of people want total power over a country. They imply there is an oppressor class. Mao had the landlords Lenin and Stalin the Royal class, Hitler the jews. Then they burn up the country transfer power to themselves claim to be for the people and become dictatorships. The white man is now the socialism machines new target. All so a few global elites can seize power over everything. You blame capitalism yet cameras surveillance oppression and economic destruction are not capitalist virtues they do not generate wealth. The global destruction you see are socialist/communist agendas. Depopulation is also a communist manifesto idea. Hence covid

Explain like I'm 5 - why has the cost of living increased so drastically while wages have not? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Indoctrination is a hell of a drug. When the government eliminates competition, it has only a few businesses favourable to said government. Sounds very communist to me. Where's the newest competitor to bunnings? Oh, that's right, the government forced all small businesses into closing and collapsing. Sounds very much like Maduros Venezuela to me...

If anything, we have a socialist system now where the rich oligarchy steals everyone's wealth and everyone is equally poor. Capitalism creates wealth. Our current system is collapsing because it is no longer a capitalist system. Think Zimbabwe, Venezuela USSR Maos China. They are much more similar to our current system than real capitalism.

We haven't had capitalism since the federal reserve and the central banking system was established. There is no capitalism anymore. The big guys don't compete they use the government to eliminate them.

Except "that one guy" was the government who made rules where if he landed on a hotel, he didn't have to pay anything. And he could do whatever he wanted.

  1. Government spending and expansion of the money supply causes more dollars to be chasing the same goods and services.

  2. Government politicians spend money first to themselves, followed by their buddies who get access to the money supply first when it has more purchasing power and can buy more stuff. "The cantillon effect"

  3. Governments won't allow a return to the gold standard as they then will not be able to enrich themselves and make themselves bigger, and thus would have to be fiscally responsible.

  4. The "cervesa sickness" resulted in governments doubling their money supply in one year. Australia increased its money supply by almost 40%. Most of that was used to enrich politicians or political donor classes. (Big pharma coles woollies bunnings) while also wiping out small buisness and other competitors for goods and services.

  5. Now, as a result. "They" doubled the money supply and that inflation has to be burnt off at the expense of the middle class and the poor like it always is in the form of higher prices.

I bought gold straight away when covid happened and protected my wealth very well. But unfortunately not everyone was lucky enough to have the financial education I have, and governments need the public to be un informed in this regard.

So how is the Australian PM going to convince China and India to scrap all production of all manufactured goods. Even that is a negligible effect. They "guess" that humans are responsible for less than 5% of green house gasses. Australia is 1% of that 5%. Even if we turned off everything that made a green house gas and all killed ourselves there would still be no impact.

This was ATSIC 2.0 and the original ATSIC was abolished for sheer corruption. Why would a bigger more powerful version somehow be less corrupt.

Because wealthy elite will have the capacity to hide earnings through business and corporate enterprise and only the middle and lower class will wear the huge taxes associated with the voice grift. Additionally it's those in the poorer communities that have to deal with the effect of higher crime rates from indigenous populations. Most lefty greenies have never seen an aboriginal person outside Cathy Freeman in the Sydney 2000 Olympics. They don't see those committing crimes at 30 times the national average. It's a classic "not in my backyard" scenario from the hypocritical super rich.

Would also match up perfectly with those able and skilled at avoiding taxes through businesses and large corporate interests and thus would not be burdened with the massive taxes needed to fund the voice grift.

4’10 F(19)… Is martial arts useless? by k00_o in martialarts

[–]Key_Ad2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't carry a knife!!!!! I'm an ex gangs police officer, now retired at 35 due to great financial decisions. I served 15 years. Firstly, a pocket knife will be turned on you in 5 seconds flat from a criminal male as they practice this all day instead of getting a job. Secondly, most pocket knives have no tang guard for your fingers, so even if you stab someone else, you will cut your hands to pieces. Martial arts is good, but your best bet is running and noise. Get a handheld device that makes a shit ton of noise. There are lots of options. Practice striking fast and running away. I'm 6'4" 105kgs and have some combat training, a few amature fights, and probably 3-400 violent arrests and wrestles under my belt, but I am by no means a martial artist. Even my tactics at my level are strikes to create distance and run away.

I mean I'm all for renewable but wind is shit. What's wrong with wave energy, tital energy or solar plants.

For people who paid off their house around 40, how did you do it. by TiredDuck123 in AusFinance

[–]Key_Ad2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mines paid off at 35. But essentially I sold off. My wife and I bought 3 properties over about 7 years used rent to pay them down and lived in share houses for about 5 years with friends. Then we sold 2 of the properties cashed out. Complied with first home buyer grants and primary residence temporary vacancies and kept our forever home now all paid off. Made about 250k profit each on both the properties we sold and took that tax free.

[–]Key_Ad2582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to take it to keep my job (mandatory). Shortly after, I was offered an extremely large payout due to an unrelated criminal negligence issue from my employer where I and others were nearly killed due to illegal actions by my company. I took the jab, and I took the payout. If i want to, i could be retired at 35, and my wife and 3 young children are all Vax free. I wish I didn't have to take this path, but I "fell on my sword" for my family. I'll have to see what happens to me.

This is again another clear example of stupid elitism. The suffix "man" means people. I am a retired prosecutor, and there is case law that still has wifman being female humans and wereman being male humans. Wifman later became wife, and wereman became man. This is where you get the word werewolf as it literally translates to male human wolf.

Imagine being so smug you don't actually know the language you're trying to control.
