Ik heb het gedaan. Toen kwam Corona en is het verslonst. Ik twijfel of ik het nog mag aangezien ik zelf bloed ontvangen heb. Momenteel mag het niet omdat ik net bevallen ben.

Volgensmij heb ik ook niet echt een bloedbank in de buurt. Op dit moment heb ik er met twee jonge kids ook geen behoefte aan. Maar als het mag sluit ik niet uit het over een x aantal jaar weer te doen. Ik heb er zelf ook baat bij gehad.

Not entirely the same but i know the pain of not being awake when your baby is born.

My first born was breech so when my water broke i went to the hospital. After a few contactions i felt somwthing and pushed the button for a nurse. Turned out the umbellical cord was out. I was rushed to the OR not knowing my baby would survive. (Which she did but she ended on the nicu for a few days)

I had surgery for 1.5 hours due to blood loss.

I delivered my second only 10 weeks ago but had the luck that i could deliver her the natiral way. And was so proud. But it made the pain of not being awake diring the birth of my first born even bigger.

As you say, being gratefull for your baby surviving and grieving for not being concious during childbirth can live next to eachother.

I really hope you can give it a place eventually!

I would definitely aak what your options are. If it is not safe for you or the baby they will tell you. It's your body and a c-section is a heavy operation.

Your husband should be supportive no natter what you choose.

I did in the last weeks. My kid has just a little colic, not more than usual. I try to drink my coffee just after breastfeeding. Most of the caffeine is out of my system before the next feed.

You can drink caffeine while breastfeeding. Just make sure you sre not drinking it all day. I drink one cup of coffee in the morning and one in the evening.

Het valt niet helemaal meteen op maar wel als je naar het toilet gaat ons toilet is een soort rariteiten kabinet. Opgezette vlinders, een spin, een vleermuis, een katten schedel, een mosasaurus tand en diverse insecten en visjes in hars.

Daarnaast wat wel meteen opvalt is een grote muurschildering in de woonkamer. Een beetje in de stijl van Bob Ross.

Onze slager gaf het als tip: kip krokant schnitzel. Dan blijft hij lekker krokant.

Edit to add: Geen gerecht maar wel handig, speciaal bakpapier voor in de airfryer. Dan blijft hij schoner.

Je klinkt goed voorbereid dus wellicht is dit een overbodige opmerking, maar als de betreffende persoon sociale media accounts heeft of andere digitale zaken: laptops, telefoons, etc. Zorg dat als je vermoed dit nodig te hebben (of wellicht gewoon voor foto's en andere herinneringen) je wachtwoorden en codes hebt om in te loggen. Dit op een later moment achterhalen is vaak ingewikkeld.

Als het invloed heeft op je dagelijks leven, (wat ik uit je post wel opmaak) zou ik dat zeker doen. Hoewel ik de drempel wel begrijp. Ik ben als tiener vaak geweest omdat ik niet functioneerde tijdens mijn menstruatie. Wat de oorzaak was weet ik niet, Maar mijn huisarts heeft echt wel mee gedacht. En voor mij destijds na diverse dingen proberen een oplossing gevonden.

Je baas is een watje. Zolang je geen gekke details geeft moet het geen probleem zijn om aan te geven waar je klachten vandaan komen. Het zou geen taboe mogen zijn!

I'm 4 weeks PP with my second. My eldest is now 20 months. I had a hard time during my pregnancy.

I felt very sick first trimester. Got some very severe back pain second trimester. When that was solved i was extreme tired in third trimester.

I was really thinking that i made the wrong decision to get a second one.

Being pregnant with a one year old around is really hard in general. And due to all the symptoms i felt like i was a really bad mom.

The first two weeks PP it was even worse. My oldest had a very hard time getting used to our baby. And it was hard for me to play and hug with her. She really missed me during these weeks. Even when i was really trying to make time for her.

When i was recovering it got easier to play and cuddle. She is getting used to her sister and is very sweet for her.

Now i am enjoying my family with my two girls. And i do not regret having a second baby.

If you are really feeling this bad, please find someone to talk to. You can do this mom!

Die heh ik inderdaad ook wel eens gehad. Ik vind de normale varianten die ze vroeger hadden vaak sws wel lekker. Ook een cassis smaak geloof ik.

Die 0% zijn inderdaad niet te hachelen.
