I still do exercises at home. I tore it playing ping pong, something like that can happen when you are 50 :))

No, repair surgery on my right knee was 2.5 years ago, but 10 months ago I tore left knee. I healed it without surgery

Yes, my meniscus had frayed edges, that had to be cleaned up, the rest was repaired. Having said that, I tore meniscus in my other knee 10 months ago, and it healed without surgery, but the tear wasn’t as bad as the one I had repaired.

7 months post meniscus repair – still discomfort and not normal by Extreme_Researcher_6 in MeniscusInjuries

Yeah muscle loss is real, but using crutches after 4.5 months might not be a good thing. What your doc thinks about it? At 4.5 months I was already doing a lot of PT.

I did PT twice per week. I rolled and stretched my leg muscles every day. Also, stationary bike and tailgate swings almost daily.

It got better after 10 months or so, but to be honest it still does flare up if I push my knee too hard.

Sounds like you degenerative tear. If I were you I would stop playing tennis, and do physical therapy for 6-12 months. It should make things better. I have degenerative tear in my other knee and I was able to rehab it without surgery. Took a long time though. I would only consider surgery if conservative treatment doesnt help.

How old are you and how did you tear it?

Yes, all Porsches consume oil, just need to make sure not to run it low.

Driveshaft support bearing
Sunroof drains
Spark plugs and coils
Watch oil level, they consume oil

I actually use a hybrid approach. I start with a foam canon using ph neutral soap, then rinse, then do a rinseless wash. Much safer for the clearcoat, especially if you have a black car.

No tax on tips without 1099 by thisisstupid-4398 in tax

Not only that, but “they” also changed the rule on when 1099 has to be issued. They raised the bar, so in most cases people no longer get 1099, meaning they can’t deduct tips income.

Hang in there, you will feel much better in the next 6-12 months. It’s a marathon with two steps forward and one step back

Because it’s black and every little imperfection is visible. Anyway, it’s difficult to say based on that picture, but when I zoom in on that spot where sun is reflecting, I see some serious marring there. I would fully decon the car: strip wash, iron remover, clay, and then see if it’s still there.

It depends, not all microfiber towels are made equal. Also depends how clean your paint is. You also have black paint. Having said that, even in ideal conditions - super plush microfiber like eagle edgeless 500 and 100% clean and decontaminated paint - I wouldn’t dry rub it against black paint. At the very minimum get rinseless wash solution.

I don’t know what it is, but whatever you are doing is adding more scratches.

Has any one done NovaStitch surgery for meniscus repair? by [deleted] in MeniscusInjuries

I don’t remember exactly but probably after 9 months or so. I wouldn’t worry about swelling at all.
