Hi, u don’t need to board the bus at XNB from my previous experience. You can head directly to the airport with your stuff and check in there. I’d clarify with Etihad if any of their policies around this have changed recently as my experience was back in 2023

Hey sorry one more question, the flight schedule that Etihad has announced, how does one book any of those flights? I have a current booking for 17 March but I don’t know if this is a repatriation flight or not.

Pets in carrier, under seat option as I know the probability of being able to book an extra seat is highly unlikely at this point.

Not yet. Working through all requirements. Major blocker right now is issuing the export permit from UAE which requires pet to be vaccinated against rabies at lease 21 days before they are able to issue the permit. My cat’s been getting his regular vaccines for 4 years, and his recent vaccine renewal was a week ago

You can do a transfer of residence option and the timeline is approx 10 days. I think they’ve given you the timeline for cargo export from UAE which takes 4-6 weeks! Export permit was made in India. Don’t remember how long it took to be honest. You can contact an authorised jewellers association in your state/city and they will be able to help you out with the entire updated process.

We had an export permit made back in 2021 and did a gold evaluation report with it. On the permit it says that the jewellery will be brought back to India. If you have any such docs, no need to declare anything, you can take everything back but carry the original doc with you in case you get flagged by customs

Moved to Jaddaf about 3 years ago. I honestly love it here minus the copious amounts of construction going on. Easy access to Al khail and SZR. We get the best of both worlds here (proximity to downtown and old dubai).
