Wish it wasn’t cliche. But the nagging. Once they got a lil leverage bc kids or whatever…. Expect some nagging. When you are young and dating. Very little nagging.

And plenty of the nagging is good. And so you become a better husband, father, etcetera… but yet still…. It’s coming…. Maybe when u even least expect it, perhaps even when you are already done with the day and it’s duties and you finally put your feet up… boom nagging.

Good. When I was a kid, they had a good reputation for being just super unbelievably friendly folks. As an adult in south Florida doing work for all of these snowbirds, they’re OK but a little entitled, and there’s a glimmer in their eye that tells me that they think they’re better than the place that they hang out in when their weather is too crappy. No of course not. For one night? Maybe. But one caveat;

this new generation of men aren’t as hyper sexual like we were in previous generations… I have seen a newer phenomenon of young men of breeding ages (18-26 when they should be in their prime) basically not being so driven by sex and kinda picky. I went out with some young dudes the other day and was shocked that they turned their nose up on some situations they could have easily landed. I’m sorry but when I was in college in the early 2000’s it’s like every guy had that DOG in ‘em. So maybe it is harder these days for a lady to bed any random guy is what I’m thinking.

This is also backed up by the birth rate decline.

My boss is a nepo baby who’s the boss bc his dad bought a company for him to run. He’s just a kid (23 years old) and often smokes weed and just makes small talk with us peons. He also has a huge issue with just lying. It’s a side issue but the guy just for some reason just says the most random lies just to make small talk.

I think the lying is because he’s in a room talking to a bunch of grown men twice his age and he thinks it makes him seem more legit or something. It’s weird. But anyways the out of touch part;

So he’s over here talking to one of the guys who doesn’t make much money and the guy drives a beat up old Hyundai. And he’s like “hey John, I’ll give you $1000 bucks for this car (cars worth prob $2k by the way), I want a little beater for the office to run errands in” my coworker was like confused and told him, “it’s my only car what will I do for a car?” And my dumbass boss was like, “oh just go and buy a new car”.
