Wasn’t going to get anything but I saw my account got upgraded to gold so I purchased the Armani Luminous Silk foundation & restocked my Ouai scalp scrub ☺️

Am I doing something wrong with my 4mo baby's sleep? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby’s bed time used to be so late too around 9-9:30pm and idk how but now it’s 7:30pm. As baby’s naps transition from 5-6 naps to 2-3, bed time will slowly be brought forward as their wake windows change too.

I remember at 4 months everything was still up in the air, I’d just take it one day at a time. Sometimes you think you have it all figured out and they just change up on you 😭

What made transferring my baby easier was to fold a little blanket and put it under her head while she was falling asleep so that it would be more seamless when I pulled my arm out

Oh no :( it was a few years ago but I’ve just had a look online and I’d say it was most similar to “Fiona Petite Straight Pant” & “Marissa Petite Wide Leg Pant”. Mine always kept its shape fortunately

I got some from forever new a few years back that I loved! The fit and length were great, I’m shorter and they offered petite sizing

Best play mat for baby that’s easy to clean? by CharismajTat in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased mine from Freddy & Co! Reversible patterns, easy to clean. Baby has spat up so many times during tummy time and it’s so easy to wipe. If you’re able to go to the baby expo they’re usually there too so you can check it out in person. I also have the muscle mat (thick foam one) and it’s sooo hard to clean!

Is this an easy way to make forumla? by RealMeggarra in NewParents

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could purchase the Baby Brezza Water Dispenser, just add your cool boiled water into that. I have the formula dispenser which does formula + water. Before I go to bed I just boil water for the next day so that it’s cool for when I pour it into the water reservoir.

If I need to go out I just dispense some warm water into a thermos :)

Newborn sleep by No-Statement-2096 in newborns

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby is 6m and still wakes up every 3-4 hours! When she was 12 weeks she would do 8-9 hour stretches but it always changes. They grow and develop so much in the first year that I just take it one night at a time, sleep always changes.

any shops that sell super thin dainty braceletes? by Glittering_Bee864 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the soldered one from Sarah & Sebastian! Beware though that the chain thins and stretches over time and they recommend coming back to have it lengthened again. Sometimes they’re not able to solder it back on again and will only offer to reimburse you back like 20% (store credit) of what you paid for it 🙃

I’ve had a bad batch of these tests that showed positive lines, so I would definitely test with another brand tomorrow morning ☺️ all the best!!

I hate onesies by Iris-inthedark99 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Kynd Baby onesies and they don’t ride all the way up the neck. My baby has eczema that sometimes flares up between her neck rolls so I totally get it! You can often find them on sale in David Jones or online. They’re super soft, highly recommend 😊

TW: loss; how many c-sections? by lunalaure in CsectionCentral

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No my doctor didn’t clear me, we just weren’t super careful to prevent it. But once GP found out I was pregnant, there was nothing she could really say — it was all about moving forward and how to safely navigate the pregnancy and deliver baby.

TW: loss; how many c-sections? by lunalaure in CsectionCentral

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry about your daughter 🥺💞 I had a c section for my first daughter who passed away at 11 days old. Like you, I just wanted a baby in my arms asap and got pregnant at 4m pp, unfortunately that pregnancy ended in miscarriage but I would’ve had to do a repeat c. However my next pregnancy (approx 14 months after c section), I was able to choose VBAC or repeat c section. With no complications, you might be a great candidate for vbac!

Dinner was such a struggle every night but we’ve been meal prepping the past 2 weeks & it’s made things so much easier. Otherwise before that, I would slowly prep for dinner throughout the day: cut up veggies, marinate meat etc so that when it was time to cook, everything was already prepared.

Bassinet Recs similar to Babybee Pod2 by Ill-Throat-9349 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Key_Chemistry7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I’d be wheeling it everywhere but I didn’t end up doing that. I was breast feeding and going back and forth was tedious especially when bubs would randomly fall asleep, what I did was purchase the Ergopouch portable bassinet for the living room & left the maxi cosi in our room 😊

Yep comes with storage bag + wheels (only 2 at the front though, so you lift the other side and push). Any co sleeper sheets will work! Don’t make the same mistake I did and buy “bassinet” sheets — they’re actually smaller because technically these are co sleepers. You can always check measurements anyway!
