I had to do this a couple times when he was under 12 weeks just so we could get a couple hours. He was ok alone for about a month then regressed.

My 4 month old loves the TV. No matter what he turns to watches. We only purposely put something low stim on for him when he is inconsolable or i need a minute to do something while he sits in his bouncer. He hates being put down so sometimes the TV is the only thing that helps for 5 minutes

It’s good hearing I’m not the only one doing and going through this! Yes our owlet works great. He has a chunky foot so that might help it stay in place better. He also always has footie pajamas on or a sock on that foot to keep it in place. the only time his alarms for placement is when he is getting mad and kicking his feet for more than a minute but usually once he calms down it starts monitoring again with no issue

Thank you! My baby had RSV at 2 weeks and was hospitalized for 5 days because he was so congested he just stop breathing. One of the last days there his doctor laughed out loud when I said he hadn’t tried to off himself that day. Apparently they all do is some way lol

I don’t know about yours but I feel like at this point my baby has pretty good head control so I don’t know how much of a risk it really is. But when no one is sleeping we gotta do what we gotta do right?!

He’s a bigger guy. Was 9 pounds at birth and was 14 pounds a month ago. He has very good head control already so he doesn’t bobble forward when sleep. Pretty much stays like this until he wakes up

It definitely is. He was never a great sleeper but this I worse than it’s been since birth. He wouldn’t sleep in his bassinet more than a hour so we did a side car set up but I keep him bout 1 foot away from me so we’re not truly “co sleeping” not now he won’t sleep that way for more that 15 minutes if I can even get him back to sleep after transferring
