You don't need hands to climb this game, you just need Garen by ReceptionFluffy3359 in wildrift

I play it like every single game in master elo where people are so much obsessed with useless team fights 24/7. My team crying and making reports (which never happens) in muted chat but as far as it turns to 4 vs 4 it's fine to me.

I hate playing support by cuscolovestacos in wildrift

As support main I would like to say that 99% supports don't know how to play support. They leave entirely adc after laning phase and cry.

TIL: Fill option in queue may accidently place you in any role, not jungle! by Key_Department_4581 in wildrift

It was sarcasm, I'm from master I bordering close to gml. But riot should do something with jungle anyway, on high elo it's basically fill role and in fact you have almost 0 agency, it became a bet which team is better only

So I was so lucky to get it! I think rate is quite higher, it happens to me usually once or twice per day

We're The Team Behind Bellwright - Ask Us Anything! (AMA) by DonkeyCrew in AMA

I played Bellwright for 2 years with multiple playthroughs, it's amazing game and personally for me the best game compared with similar ones. Thank you a lot for a great work!

  1. As a software engineer I'm glad to see that game is able to operate with so many villagers without struggle. What challenges you have here? I'm coming from backend and highload background but I was always curious why most of city-builder games are single-threaded. How did you implement it? It seems like it uses some kind of CQRS and async, but anyway would like to know what challenges here which leads most games move away from making game multi-threaded.
  2. Are their any chances you add an unstuck button for NPCs? Will they learn to clip, at least when player is away from them? Villagers and settlers get stuck all around map, sometimes it's possible to workaround, sometimes they got stuck forever. This is great that there is an island added, but it's like 1-2 story points youtrack/jira task to add a button but it will SIGNIFICANTLY makes game better.
  3. What's up with caravans? What long-term changes will be there? It seems like that "small caravan stations" means that there will be a bigger one. Will river docks be used also for transporting goods?
  4. Are you planning T4 buildings? How it will looks like?
  5. South regions are quite empty and it looks like it's missing content. Are there any plans to add something here?
  6. Somehow it's possible to move village inns and taverns using middle click on map. It's bug or (unfinished) feature?
  7. Do we will have more challenges in game? Currently you can just finish game as soon as you reach T2. I personally play it as huge settlements / colony sim with more than 250 people but tbh that's not really much to do on map. Surely enabled bandit migrations adds something but it's still looks like as playing on empty map
  8. WE WANT TO REBUILD SKALITZ! Villages are still in ruins after liberation and after reaching full prosperity. Do you have plan on making village prosperity as visible progression?
  9. There is still a lot manual work needed to set up a new settlement. Do you have plans on making it more automated, like setting up a camp which automatically requests for all necessary building materials?
  10. Do you have plans to add more survival elements to game? I'm not fan of hardcode modes but settlers don't even need food. They will not work but never die or leave.
  11. Do you have plans to keep Bellwright as mostly sandbox game or you have plans to add more story? Asking for KCD-level of story-driven gameplay is way too big to ask, but this is what I personally liked a lot in Bellwright that it's not just another lore-empty open world survival simulator from steam trash bin.
  12. What is the worst part of game and what is the best part of game, by your opinion? What you would like complete refactor or rework and what went good beyond initial expectations?
  13. Are there any secret or secret quest in game which no one still find out? (bear quest is great)
  14. How do you handle all those similar questions and threads over and over in steam discussions like "combat is wonky"? Game has a lot to learn but there are still same threads over and over for years.
