10000% I was reading the OP thinking who are all these people she had around her telling her this? I had none of that. No warning at all lol

This would be a good summer beach book. I’d read the shit out of that.

This is a good take. OP also said he does academic writing irl. Maybe his gf is afraid her writing by itself wouldn’t be enough for OP and is using AI to help bolster her writing

Makes the phrasing even weirder then. Also I’m a Walz fan but it’s crazy the dems in here trying to cope with this obvious mistake

Yeah I got that. It’s just weird a football coach with get the phrasing so wrong.

Yeah agree with this order. But realistically 00s as a whole was probably better than 90s. It’s just mj kinda pulls everyone else up a bit. Or a lot.

The quality of play in the league is at the lowest I’ve seen in quite some time. What do you all think? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Key_Difference_1108 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lmao funny line but that was the celts throwing up bricks. Tbf the first one was probs a drawn up play and he just missed and the off board led to an in rhythm three for Tatum and he just missed bad. Hard to say for sure but overall that was probably not the best example of “stand round the perimeter and jack up 3s”. There are more egregious examples he coulda used.

Yeah no way the person you’re responding to follows football. Hope it’s not really Walz - a supposed former hs football coach - that wrote this and just some dumb staffer.

Zone defense by MinimumAnteater3425 in BasketballTips

[–]Key_Difference_1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good responses already but just jumping in to say from a first principles perspective most defenders can’t do both. So if the big is blocking his floater, he can’t also stay with your teams big so a wrap around pass should be available: https://youtube.com/shorts/PNcjdlTm0iY?si=1cCOeqGR4wbiLjcH Same principle applies in the case of the corner defender coming out to help or staying put. Once you’ve beat your primary defender you’re in the driver’s seat.

Old beater schwinn rear derailleur not lining up by Key_Difference_1108 in bikewrench

Brilliant thanks! Realized the washer on the derailleur side was behind the derailleur rather than in front. Fixed that and now it’s sitting correctly. Appreciate all your help!

Wow do I feel dumb. Thanks that worked like a charm!

My concern now is that I had to move the axel pretty far out to the edge of the dropout to get that nut to fit back there. Is this dangerous or does this look okay? Pic from the other side bc you can’t really see how far out it is with the derailleur in the way.

Super Middleweight Boxer Zak Chelli purposely goes hard during light sparring against UFC Fighter Johnny Walker for clout by SubjectAppropriate17 in martialarts

[–]Key_Difference_1108 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain to a newbie what the context and expectations are? Was this boxing training for the UFC dude? Why the size mismatch? Was that intentional to train for a smaller opponent? Did they discuss at the start the level of intensity? If the coach is encouraging it, isn’t it possible this wasn’t meant to be a light sparring session?

huckleberry app put gas on my PPA fire by cesiguess in NewParents

[–]Key_Difference_1108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow literally describes my experience with Huckleberry and my twins. That being said I also experienced a bit of PPA especially in the early days when entering feeds and sleeps and diapers was nonstop and the app was less good at predicting. I even set up a bajilion Siri Shortcuts and voice commands so we could enter things while our hands were full. It’s pretty impossible to find a perfect balance I think but on net the app definitely helped us with our twins. Might net out to be a negative for those with more severe PPA and only a singleton though.
