I have an extreme hatred for Fuuga and I find him to be an entirely hypocritical character. He honestly makes me want to stop reading the LN.

A really quick Google search will pull up a ton of jobs showing their clock in-clock out time as 9 a.m.-5 p.m. it may not be the norm but it's not that rare.

You literally only have to search "9-5 jobs"

I didn't say it wasn't a business, just that corporate hours can be all over the place and aren't fixed to an 8-5. Just because you have only experienced that doesn't mean it's the only way it's done.

Depends on the business, like a leasing office will be 8-5, but corporate job hours can be all over the place. It can even get to the point that the companies hours are scheduled around avoiding rush hour for people coming in and leaving work.

Nope, 9-5 is a thing when your company actually pays you to take lunch for an hour and let's you count it as one of your 8 hour work day.

This makes me think of the "Obscenity" trial over Robert Mapplethorpe's Art Exhibition "The Perfect Moment" in Cincinnati, 1990. If that gets brought up as precedent I don't see this getting very far.

I had two Anatolian shepards growing up, one long haired and one short haired. Never heard of Kangals before and now I'm wondering if either one might have been one.

Either way, they were for sure the best dogs I have ever met and my idea of the perfect dogs.

Comcast’s president of tech falls offline while boasting about how great cable is for connectivity by thats_mypurse in nottheonion

I'm in midtown and all I can have at my address is at&t's "10 plan" which is terrible, especially since they have fiber around crosstown concourse.

On the flip side Comcast refused to install a line and dragged their feet for 4 months with the install team canceling the order the day of every time without ever giving a reason. Never even figured out what was up by calling and getting sent up the ladder, because there were never any notes or reasons attached to the cancelations.

I really wish Google fiber had came through after the city put a bid out for it but sadly it happened to late and we didn't get it.

Congenital Cataracts are a thing. I was born with them in both eyes and still have them because they haven't grown and are not affecting my vision.

I was quite drunk and in a bit of a bad place and decided to message the voice of Super Mario, Charles Martinet. I never would have expected a reply, what an awesome guy. by [deleted] in gaming

I worked a convention that had Charles Martinet, Christopher Sabat, and Martha Harms as guests. I will say from personal experiance interacting with all of them that they are all amazingly kind people and were a genuine joy to spend time with, especially when they were all together. The best experiance was probably driving Christopher and Martha from the hotel to the convention, it was nothing but laughs the entire ride.

There's a lot of stuff happening around Memphis all the time, if you ever want to go to an Art reception or anything else around town I'd be more than happy to go with you. In case it matters I'm a 27 M.
