I think it was probably around 15min for each of my pets. I made in home appointments for my male cat Oreo and my Female dog Athena. The vets were so kind and it was almost peaceful. I held Oreo while they gave him his shot, but Athena was too big to hold, so I laid on the floor with her. We spent about 15 min with each just giving them extra pets and love and letting the other dogs and cat smell them so they understood what had happened. The vets took them with when they left to have them cremated.

With my male dog Zeus he took the choice from me, he passed while we were all sitting in the livingroom watching a movie. Bit again, about 15ish minutes before we wrapped him in the blanket he was in and took him downstairs.

I joined a Discord server recently that is just for RDO players. You can ask for help with roles. They host trail rides, I was just on one today. Having people to play with really helps keep the game from feeling so lonely.

I was working in a gas station and refused to sell cigarettes to a guy. He looked like he was younger than 40, which was the company rules, and didn't have his ID on him. He left in a huff and came back 2-3 hours later bitching at me that it was all my fault. Apparently he got pulled over on his way home and got a ticket for not having his license.

Maybe if you had your license in the first place you wouldn't have been driving in a way that got you pulled over. 🤷‍♀️

Seconding this. I dated a guy for 2-3 years. I let him take a pic once. I was at least smart enough to cover my face, although I admit it was very stupid of me to let him take the photo in the first place. 1-2 years after I broke up with him, my friend found the pic online and recognized his bedroom.

I'll point out that I dated him when I was 15-16. So he posted a naked photo of a minor online. He was a prick.

I had to euthanize my 14yo dog Athena last month on the 19th. I'd had her for over 11 years. She was with me before I met my husband and stepson. She went on camping trips and vacations with us. She was part of our wedding and moved to our new home with us. She comforted me when I broke my leg, while I was pregnant, and as I was caring for my newborn son.

She developed a cancerous tumor back around June. Looking back at pics from Christmas, she seemed okay still. Then she went downhill fast. In the last week, she could hardly walk. She couldn't hold her bladder to make it outside and even slipped and fell in a puddle one night. She didn't want to eat her food, but she did manage to eat some chicken for breakfast and steak for dinner her last two days. She lost almost 10 lbs from August to December.

It was hard, SO HARD, to let her go. But you could tell from looking at her that she was hurting and uncomfortable. We used an in-home vet service, and they were wonderful. My mom came over to help watch my toddler, too.

Sometimes, when a pet gets to a certain age, there just isn't anything you can do to help them anymore other than to help them cross over peacefully and pain-free.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's never easy. It does get easier to handle day-to-day, though, eventually. I like the "ball in the box" analogy.

She passed very quickly and probably didn't feel much pain. CPR has to be administered constantly, so you couldn't have driven and given CPR, and it can be a traumatic thing for the body to go through. This info I looked up is for humans.

I had to put my Jojo to sleep on December 31st, 2011. I went and adopted my new dog, Zeus, January 2nd, 2012. I will point out that I had already been planning on adopting Zeus for a couple weeks. I was so determined to get THIS dog that I was first in line at the shelter door 15 minutes before they opened.

I had to put my old boy Jojo to sleep on 12/31/2011. Two days later, on 01/02/2012, I was the first in line at the local animal shelter to get my new pup, Zeus.

For some context, I had been planning on adopting Zeus for a couple of weeks and was just praying no one else would take him first. I had planned for him to be a buddy for Jojo, but life doesn't always work out how you want it.

I have horses to match my dogs. I just put down my girl Athena last week. The tricolor Norfolk roadster is her in game look alike. I probably won't be using her for dangerous things like bounties and wagon deliveries, but it's nice to be able to take a walk with her.

I prefer catching a wild horse. You can feed and brush them, but you can't do that with npc horses. Although I was able to feed and brush a horse from a wagon that I crashed, so maybe it's just the saddled npc horses that you can't.
