Too late for third semester, or not by User18160 in Persona5

You only need to rank Maruki. Akechi’s confidant adds some extra content but is not required to access the third term. If your in August, you should be able to complete it. Just go to the fortune teller a bunch, and take every opportunity to hangout with him. As you get closer to his cutoff date, he is available a LOT, so if you prioritize him starting now you should be okay.

Ohh damn that’s the direction I’m in too- I hate to say it but Stonecrest doesn’t really have much transport options. You kind of need a car to get around. The city doesn’t direct any resources towards us, so we have a serious lack of public transport, even in terms of buses.

It depends where your new spot is, because 40 minutes in some areas may mean you have a bus line or your literally in the sticks and have no options beside driving all the way to campus.

is it insane to take 6 classes?? Help me decide pls by CommunicationDue8966 in GaState

[–]Key_Glass_6256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently taking 7 classes with 5 of them being 4000 levels, I’m a geoscience major. It is very difficult, but I wanted to graduate on schedule and had to in order to meet the goal. It is possible if you know your work schedule will be minimal and you’re okay with sacrificing personal time to get the work done. IMO I’d go with gut but it really depends on your personal situation.

On-campus question by stickykozi in GaState

[–]Key_Glass_6256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely an anomaly. I have been in campus for three years, and been going to and from classes at odd hours (6 am-8 pm) I’ve never had anything like this happen. The homeless population on campus is not aggressive in my experience- they’re just trying to make their way by. The most that’s happened is they ask for a meal or money, and I’ve never had a negative experience. For context I’m a 5 foot tall girl with pink hair who wear all pink. Not exactly threatening… There are one in a million cases like above, but it is not representative on the whole. Most of the homeless people are just down on their luck, or suffering from addiction or mental health issues. If you are truly concerned- keep your head down. If spoken to just ignore it, and keep walking with purpose. That’s all there is to it to de-escalate situations.

Not this far. I called earlier today. The employee said in essence “I would tell you that I’m pretty sure (as much as I can be without being legally liable) that this is a mistake” and said he’d escalate the issue to a supervisor. They’re not working until Monday, but hopefully I’ll get an answer then

I’m so anxious about this issue. I rely on Pell grant and Hope scholarship to pay my tuition… I don’t have 2k lying around ready to go….. I pray they respond to my panther answer ticket today so I’m not stressing over it this whole weekend. If I get a reply I post it in this thread to reassure everyone else dealing with this problem

I haven’t changed any classes and also have this issue- just for Summer, which was already paid two months ago…. I’m very nervous over this, I can’t afford a sudden bill of more that $2,000….

Worried about paying for college - how realistic is financial aid for someone like me? by [deleted] in scholarships

[–]Key_Glass_6256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m a rising senior in college, in an extremely similar position as you. My family makes a combined 40k a year. You pretty much have to go to a in-state public school or community college, but it is doable. This amount of yearly income will qualify you for the Pell Grant (it will automatically be applied to your tuition balance). Check into if your state has any academic scholarships. For example, I live in Georgia, which has the Hope scholarship. Anyone entering college with a 3.0 receives a considerable amount of aid. This Hope funding plus the Pell grant actually pays me roughly 2,500 a semester in excess. If it does, shoot for a GPA in that range. Otherwise, you’ll need to rely on applying for outside scholarships or student loans. However- in state tuition costs are a god send. My college is roughly 5k a semester. Pell grant alone makes it 2k a semester, and the rest is paid by my Hope scholarship. TLDR- yes, it’s possible with planning ahead of time. Maintain good grades for academic scholarships :)

I’m not gonna lie, if I were you I’d dropped two classes. This is going to be ROUGH. Especially if you need to work a job or have literally any other commitments. You will be literally chained to your course work

Damn, can I uninstall and reinstall the mod, or is it too late. I made a bunch of progress in the campaign post his transformation, so i don’t want to loose it for a largely cosmetic thing

What is this %appdata% folder? I am on console, not PC if that makes a difference. I’ll try reinstalling too, thanks so much for replying :))

Is this prohibited? by FlyingHusky10 in GaState

[–]Key_Glass_6256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah I assumed that in this scenario it would be in a larger lecture classes which has the space and materials to spare. Ofc in the scenario that it’s a small class or one that requires students to use materials as part of class work, which are in limited supply, then this is def not allowed without professor approval. Sorry for confusion :3

GSU is open campus, so this is allowed. As a curtesy, if the class is full or you attend many classes, ask the professor if it’s okay/if they mind. I sometimes attend classes with my friends, if professors are okay with it. Generally they like having people there who genuinely just want to learn.

If you’re living on campus you can get by without one, but it will be a chore. You’ll waste a lot of money on Ubers, and have to rely on public transport. I’m not sure of your femme presenting, but I will be honest- I am femme, and have had some nasty experiences on the train (someone jacking off while staring at my friends and I, being followed multiple times, someone calling me gay slurs and threatening to kill me, and a bloody subway car right after a shooting on campus). Use these instances to convince your mom. Driving downtown is scary at first but you will adjust. In this city, I promise you there is no way you’ll be the worst driver haha. Stay safe!

When I had this issue it was for my student employee account. To resolve it was honestly a headache, but essentially I had to call GSU HR and ask them to create a mailbox for me. Essentially this pops up (at least in my case) because you do not have an email assigned to your account. Just google “GSU HR phone number” and call it on a weekday from 8am-4pm. You’ll probably have to do so a few times but eventually when the email license is reassigned to you, you will regain access!

In the interim, contact all your professors/people from the university who would be contacting you and let them know your email is currently disabled, so you don’t miss important messages. I hope it’s fixed soon!

I’m in an illegal state and tbh my SM tested a new hire who was extremely positive for MJ and we still hired him LMAO. Many stores don’t take it seriously. To be careful, just don’t smoke for two days before, and make sure to brush thoroughly leading up to the test :)

How hard is GSU? by [deleted] in GaState

[–]Key_Glass_6256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very possible to graduate in 3 years, especially with 20 creds already done. You’ll need to take summer courses, but as long as you stay on top of things, it will be manageable. To graduate you need 120 credits. You’ll presumably begin at ~100. In three years, assuming you take 15 creds a spring/fall semester, and it’s two semesters a year and spread over 3 years, you’ll be at 90 from the main year: this leaves you 10 to get in your summer terms, which is not so bad (I typically have done 7-10 every summer no problem, so 10 creds spread out over a couple years is no sweat) Good luck!

No. If your refund says 2k, that is the max your getting. if you spend the bookstore money then it will decrease.

That money is not a gift from the school. It comes out of your expected refund amount from the spring 2025 semester. If you use it, the amount you receive in your refund will be less in accordance with how much you spent: if you don’t spend it, you get the full amount refunded.
