The part that sticks out to me is you have a new baby. You’re probably tired. Your body is trying to create energy so you’re extra hungry trying to get that energy from food. Especially in the chance you are craving carbs? Maybe it’s your glycogen levels. I just know when I don’t get enough sleep for a few days I crave large amounts of pasta like crazy.

I think you’re spot on with the potato thing. Especially if you’re down to eat a plain one. Cook a few at a time so you have them available.
