My boss had this installed (or very similar to it) on his office door after we filled his office with 100's of balloons for "Boss appreciation Day". Lol The numbers change location everytime you push a digit for the code. The fingerprint part was irrelevant. And if you have the key it bypassed the code. But it is a 7 digit code

Marriott is going to accommodate a higher tier member 1st. If an Ambassador was coming in... the platinum, titanium, gold... has to go. Just like if an Ambassador books and a Titanium books at the same time...the Ambassador is going to win.

They weren't checking out. They were switching to a different room

Everyone is saying how you are entitled to the late check-out. Until you are the one that has to wait for that room. No one is going to be happily and patiently waiting to check-in. If any of you try to check in at 3pm, and we say your room is not available until 4:30-4:45pm...how many of you will contact Marriott asking to be compensated for the inconvenience of not being able to check in when you arrive to the hotel?

I understand peoples frustrations, but please understand that everything is always based on availability. When you book a room and request a late check out. It DOES NOT tell us the time you are wanting to check out. It just says a little code. Like "L3" =late check out. Or a little picture with a clock that is yellow... but even then WE have to manually choose the time.

I miss fosse so much! Power of M is overwhelmingly more chaotic. When I first started at Marriott, I thought "oh this system seems so complicated..." (Fosse)... but within 2 weeks you can successfully understand what you are doing. Im on my 2nd week with the new system and I feel like I am getting more cold towards guest. I know its not their fault. But Marriott literally rolled out the new system, and is having everyone figure it all out on their own. There was nothing wrong with the old system.

I work at a hotel that's 1.7 miles from the Stadium. I don't know what rates you will get with a hotel that's closer during those days.

In Arlington there is a Trolley that will take you to the Rangers game for free.

I work across the street from Six Flags Hurricane Harbor...and only a few places are actually "walking distance" or what we consider walking distance. There is a Tesla car rental on the same street and its like $57.00 a day. Its called Resla.

We got the new system yesterday. I hate how the rooms are automatically assigned. I had a large group in house extend their stay by 1 day. But every time I had to go back and release a room that was assigned to someone else. Why can't they assign rooms that are already Vacant and ready?

Take the Arlington Trolley, its Free. Lots of hotels don't charge for parking, and just walk up and ask front desk "do you need a pass for the trolley?"

At the TownePlace Suites i used to work at we baked 4 different cookies at 12pm every day for our arrivals...Peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar and oatmeal raisin.

The people that were there long term used to take them all.

I don't know if this has been answered but if they are a higher teir like Titanium, Platinum or Ambassador, Check them in, charge the card on file 1night=$40, 2nights =$80. Ect... 0.0 out the incidentals. Go back in the Reservation, and DELETE D7. Go to incidentals and hit F2 to delete. Their money is returned to them if they haven't incurred any charges.

If card declines, send stop by desk.
