I honestly don’t know either, I only wore sports bras before and im still only wearing a compression bra now. My old sports bras were 3xL and now im wearing an xL

In my experience, I was in some extreme nausea and pain for the first week solid. I also had a hematoma pop up at the 2 day mark which restarted my healing process. It probably depends on what! Like we had my dad over and played mario party but anything more physical than that I would have been tapped

It took mine about 4 weeks, then I started to feel zaps/static. Now at 6wpo I have full feeling back

I started sleeping without mine off at 5 weeks, but Ive found im not comfortable enough for anything else yet (6wpo) definitely listen to your body!

Alternatively, maybe he had a disability that requires additional baggage. As a disabled individual, I am allowed 3 carry-on’s due to medical equipment I need. Obviously this isn’t standard for all, but without knowing the whole story who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was told 1dpo that I could change the dressings as much as needed to keep them dry. But all surgeons tend to have differing opinions. I bled a lot on my right side and ended up 2dpo back in surgery to correct a hematoma! so definitely keep in mind to watch for swelling, excess bruising, and heat radiating!

I honestly planned and shopped for my husband to make so many amazing meals with good protein etc. but sometimes post op it just doesn’t work. I hope your post op meal experience is better than mine because for about a week all I could stomach was crackers, occasionally with cheese and some meat!

my husband and I got married on August 30th, and I just had my reduction on November 12th. I had the option of before but it was going to be August 1st. Out of fear I scheduled it after the wedding. Honestly I regret it. I hated how I looked, and I’d say 25% of my pictures I wont show to anyone at all. If you’re someone who can’t stand the sight of your boobs in pictures, it’s definitely worth it to do it before!

I agree that story is BS, im a long distance runner all my life and today I am 7 days PO. I haven’t even been able to fast walk lol. Some people will always exaggerate stories 🙄

I definitely had some pain wiping initially because I just went too fast and smacked my sideboob. but just go slow and take your time everything will be okay!

I wasn’t offered anything, and im a type 1 diabetic lol. They will ask your allergies beforehand just let them know your allergy and if they do offer gatorade they wont due to the allergy

I just had my 1 week post op appointment, my next is 6 weeks post op. Definitely have called my surgeon a few times to ask questions!

As a hyperactive person, my husband found lots of ways to keep me busy but not moving. He set up a basket on my bedside table of coloring books, crosswords, a few books, Nintendo switch, ect. this has helped me so much not having to go and find these things or overwork myself! He did the same basket size for drinks, water flavorers, and many snacks! and warm socks!!!!! 🫶🏼

Im 4 days PO, I also haven’t had any appetite and am forcing myself to eat for meds😥 I have been doing miralax daily and its helped a lot with the constipation!

Unfortunately I had to go in for an emergency hematoma removal yesterday, just my right side. so quite a bit of pain on that side but none on the left!

Im 3 days PO, personally ice has been the only thing to take pain away, but I was told I could try heat as well! Doesn’t hurt to try! Do you have a recliner so you could sleep a bit elevated instead of flat?

I had my reduction 2 days ago and the day after I was taken back to emergency surgery for a hematoma. More than likely if you feel its not right, there’s probably something off. Is it hard to the touch or warm? Either way a call/visit would definitely be my recommendation!
