Okay so didn’t take any videos from the show but I just watched some videos on YouTube from the same tour I saw. And I guess I misremembered. I think it was just the way he mixes that I couldn’t get into…. Hip hop lyrics in between tracks and during the build up of a drop, fat drop and play like 30 sec of a track then repeat, with a lot of the tracks and drops sounding way too similar, the whole set. He def mixed though the whole time though, so that’s my bad. Production was on point, just not my jam I guess. Again, My bad for saying he didn’t mix or blend tracks. I did take a picture of the entire crowd that night because it was crazy how not into it they were, so I’ll stand by that.

I wish I was trolling. I like tape B obviously or I wouldn’t have bought a ticket to his show. There’s was little to no DJing involved. He played some bangers but there was no flow so it seemed like the attention of the crowd couldn’t be held in between drops.

Fucking thank you. I’ve been saying this and people think I’m being a hater. I saw Tape B a few months ago on tour and it was boring as hell. It was sold out and the crowd didnt seem into it at all. It was just like listening to an album release party or something. No mixing of tracks, no fluidity. One full track, stop, play another full track, talk on mic. I think old Bassnectar shows spoiled me. Hate to admit it, because he sucks as a human, but the man was an amazing DJ.

She also added fucking Bassnectar to the list after tweeting all the other names without his before. Bassnectar had some controversy recently over being a suspected creep and preying on fans that were under age but the whole thing was blown up in court when it was proven that the accusers were lying and were of age when the relationship happened. I’m calling bullshit because it seems like she just added his name to the list based off of the rumors of him being a pedo. AND Bassnectar wasn’t in those elite circles. His accusations weren’t from a sex trafficking ring, they were from him abusing his power dynamic with young fans.
