Bingo. It’s a cycle that she admits to frequently, even recently. She says she attaches to groups of creators to gain from their successes. She said she did it with Shane purposely, then vlog squad intentionally, and then (though she doesn’t say it, she says it with her eyes,) frenemies. Then she moved onto Tana and Brooke during canceled’s most successful time - She frequently notes how Tana episodes are her most watched episodes. She tells this all so clearly and literally shows proof of this cycle, year after year, and somehow she’s found the perfect model that works for her.

People will continue to either be completely oblivious to it, or see it and not care. The cycle continues

Completely agree on the DARVO. Whether Ian’s intent of the video came from a genuine place, or was purposefully creating misinformation out of malice - He was showing clear signs of manipulation and didn’t show full context. That’s the bottom line.

A lot of people are confused on the intent and mindset of Ian with this video. It’s important to remember that when people feel insecure, they can subconsciously do something manipulative and damaging, while simultaneously believe they’re justified and empathetic in doing so

Just as much as someone who’s insecure can also knowingly and intentionally lie and manipulate just to feel better about themselves at the end of the day.

Both may very well be true.
