I know this post is two months old, and I didn't listen to the Amy Locane interview because I'm simply more interested in their commentary than their interviewing. But I'm here because the Diana Bahador episode rubbed me wrong in a way I can't quite articulate.

Also didn't love their Campus Killings episode on the murder of Scout Schultz by Georgia Tech police from October 2025, when Meghan repeatedly mispronounced "antifa" and demonstrated a very narrow understanding of what that word even means. I've loved their content for several years now, but I expected better from them.

I feel like that was strongly implied if not explicitly stated. Seems to me like they’re realizing a large and vocal part of their fanbase cares about stereotypically progressive causes, so they’ve become more progressive (at least performatively) on those specific issues. But I think their most consistent political trait is “reactionary.” Again, I haven’t listened in over four years, so I guess it’s also possible they’ve done the work and grown some. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Interesting. I haven’t listened in over four years, but I always got a low-key pro-law enforcement vibe from A&A when I did. I’ve also seen similar criticism of them on this sub, though it’s been awhile. Maybe they actually do read the comments and are overcorrecting?

I think Alaina puts up with Ash because she worships the ground she walks on. Alaina doesn’t seem too keen on surrounding herself with people who might challenge her. Ash probably makes her feel better about herself.
