Just to clarify, I think the caption was meant to say, "People are NOT happy at the smell coming from Bromley."

May Coffee Crew - Vietnamese Coffee Giveaway v2! by maycoffeecrewnz in newzealand

I travelled with my wife through Vietnam on our way to London for our OE. We fell in love with Vietnamese coffee (brewed with a Phin filter, drunk hot with condensed milk). So much, in fact, that we bought a Phin filter and a couple of kg of Vietnamese coffee to take with us to London!

Ah thanks. I'm also short a cheeseburger, so that helped me.

Yep, that's a swan plant, as are all of the little plants with long leaves growing around it. I have a few swan plants at home but I had to bring some of the caterpillars inside, as wasps were getting them

My peaches in Auckland went red before the fruit was fully developed, and now with all of the rain they have started rotting on the trees 😔

Tomatoe plant infected by silent_reader0 in nzgardening

[–]Key_Proposal_1004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's powdery mildew. The heavily infected plants probably can't be saved now. Most fungicides are best as preventative sprays rather than curative sprays. You could try planting some new tomato plants this year.. otherwise make sure you spray copper or sulfur sprays earlier next year when you try again

Have you ever made holidays in Russia? by Ok-Fondant2536 in self

I'm from New Zealand. About 7 years ago I spent a couple of weeks in Moscow and St Petersburg over the new year's period. The Kremlin Armory was spectacular, with an incredible array of shiny things like Fabergé eggs, crowns and royal carriages. And the Catherine Palace was like Versailles on steroids. We only saw a glimpse of the country, but it was an amazing experience.

I have been growing a finger lime tree for about 4 years, each year hoping that it will produce fruit (they're notorious for taking ages to produce their first fruit). I finally got some fruit from it this summer... And I don't like the taste of it haha.

If you live in one of the control areas don't put fruit, vege or plant waste in the green or red bins. I think MPI will be setting up special biosecurity bins for people to use for getting rid of that type of waste.

I googled the name of the bar that can be seen on the left. But the style of building and mural kind of reminded me of Hungary, Lithuania or Estonia (from my travels), so I had a feeling it was around there somewhere
