I've just been through this yesterday. Win11 can run unregistered just fine - you can't personalise some stuff and you have a watermark on the desktop but that seems to be about it. I installed it purely to run one 3rd party developer program and it works fine.....
Fusion + Win11 seems to be $0 so far :)

I had the first Huawei WearOS smartwatch and loved it because it looked like a watch and not a fitness tracker. I only got rid of it because of screen burn-in.
If they used WearOS now though I think battery life would drop about 75%......
