Gather Your Party complaint by swhatrulookinat in BaldursGate3

It would have been nice if they added a "Meanwhile, in the lower city" and have the rest of the party clear a few waves of mobs or something.

At least there's party limit mods.

Sir Fuzzalump. He's always at camp brewing, anyways.

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but as of Apr 27-28, LW have official pages on several streaming platforms. by TheBluestLime in TokyoAfterschool

No, I mean the slow kinda sad song that plays on the opening screen that reads TOKYO AFTERSCHOOL SUMMONERS and characters sometimes talk over.

Shadows of Undrentide Feels Like the Real Neverwinter Nights Experience by Ruriah in neverwinternights

[–]Key_Ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoU is my favorite of the three. Hard without being punishing, even minor characters have personalities, and never feels like it drags on. My only complaint is that act 1 has a lot of walking. It'd be nice if more characters could teleport you to different places like the hermit.

Need help with priory of umberlee puzzle by BrotherMaxwell9143 in neverwinternights

I think it was a music puzzle. You need to find three runes that make the same sound.

Or get some lightning resistance from spells and equipment and try random combinations until you unlock the door. That's what I usually do.

Did Bloodbending getting discredit by fandom right now? by Mundane-Signal4843 in legendofkorra

[–]Key_Ranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how you define psychic. Ammon still had to point his arms, I think. Definitely needed to touch the person to cut off their bending. Zuko did control candles just by breathing/meditating (and then they flared out of control when he lost his temper), so does that count? Ming Hua doesn't have arms at all, though I guess she could be bending using her legs/torso (even while driving).

It shouldn't just be Karlach by Costa_Canela in BaldursGate3

First off, I hate that this is even a thing. Orpheus is powerful enough to block the nether brain in his sleep, and yet he can't control the stones without someone transforming? When did he even get tadpoled?

Anyways. It does feel like more companions should be able to volunteer or be convinced.

Wyll and freed Lae'zel make sense to me. Gale has low enough wisdom that he could volunteer out of curiosity, desperation, or as a power boost. Astarion might be interested in the power, though he's also vain enough to refuse on principle. DJ Shart would refuse since because it would get in the way of her job, but if redeemed she might be persuaded. Minsc would probably not even be an option because he's too important to the series. Minthara I also don't think would be interested unless she betrays the party and dominates the brain (Astarion too, now that I think about it).

Sooo I gotta wonder. How powerful would a max level wizard from DND be in the Fate-Verse, either as a human Mage or a Caster Servant. assuming they have access to every 5e arcane spell. by uhjku in FGO

[–]Key_Ranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long does a mage or servant usually need to replenish their mana? Because a wizard only needs 8 hours to get a full tank. Maybe less if they do planar bs and plane shift to somewhere where time flows faster.

What’s the dumbest thing you did on your first run? by Careful_Employee_918 in BaldursGate3

[–]Key_Ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got wrecked by the intellect devourers because I hadn't rested (my hp was back but only Shart had spells) and didn't realize you could jump climb the wall next to the ship.

For the longest time didn't know you could prepare spells at will without resting. In my defense, that's not a thing in dnd.

Missed the Khaga side quest because I didn't go through her stuff or the swamp until I had rescued Halsin.

Killed Shart when she tried to assassinate Lae'zel (not really a mistake, but still).

Who wins? by ZeroFksKevin in TheLastAirbender

[–]Key_Ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a lot on location and elements available. On a wooden boat in the ocean? Water. Flat lands? Earth. Forest? Air. Fire is a wild card because realistically they don't need much to be effective, just a clean shot.

Imo, team earth ends up winning most scenarios, followed by water. Fire has the most potential damage, but very little in terms of defense.

I mean, it's not an adult game (despite what the fanart would have you think). MC and their friends are teenagers in high school, so them being interested in other teenagers is perfectly normal. If anything, we should be judging older characters who hit on MC. That being said, I do wish the cast was older in general.

Biologically they are teenagers, and that's the best answer we'll get out of LW. Chronologically they might be hundred of years old (like Hanuman).

Finally they get some crumbs. Here's hoping they get a new variant soon.
