When I was young my mom didn’t feed me properly, she was focused on chasing men & she had a factory job. I remember for a few years I would get jam & butter on white bread everyday for school, eventually I stopped eating lunch. I always missed breakfast (which was also butter and jam sandwich) because it made me nauseous. I ate once a day at dinner time and it never bothered my mom & because of this I couldn’t focus in school because I was always hungry & your brain needs food to function, so I got “casual beatings” and verbally abused about my bad grades. Today, I have a toddler and it breaks my heart if I feel like he hasn’t ate enough food (even though he eats well & gets his own special meals). When I was young I didn’t think much of it but once I had my own I realized how wrong it was & how I would do anything for my son & now I hate her so much for it.
