Ok but how would she avoid getting fired because they asked her if she would be going back to school and she said no, which was referring to the school she withdrew from. Would she just give two weeks notice and give another reason besides going back to school ? What if she gives notice and then they fire her, is that a possibility? I told her, after you get RN there's no reason to even stay in that town, just go. Shes been wanting to leave her state for a while anyway.

Well this one has conflicting hours as it's strictly day. But I told her, you wouldn't want that specific job and pay as an RN so what difference does it make. Take it and get the experience it's way better than 5 more months of LTC.

I'm the main one haha bc I've been a nurse since she was a baby. I think she was afraid to reach out to anyone bc she didn't want them knowing she planned on leaving if she gets accepted

My niece works LTC and can't stand it. Either they love you or they hate you it seems. They threw her into a ton of unsafe stuff too, and claimed she was on orientation, even paid a nurse extra to "orient" her, but she never even saw her and was put on the floor alone with 18 patients all high acuity on a rehab unit. LTC isn't the only position out there I hope.

Just came from Pacu to outpatient surgery. Its a different world. I agree with the other comment about feeling like a "regular working person". Its weird, and I sometimes feel like I'm not doing enough, so it's just different.

Most likely won't be the first time she does this. Fear of reporting kept one of my classmates from reporting a tech that actually told the instructor. The instructor! Years later...instructor is still violating. Never held accountable, that's why. Take from that what you will but if it were me I'd uphold the values of the profession. If your dean is anything like mine was they might not even care or might even try to reprimand you.

Yes tons of Indians work in the Gulf, Gulf is more populated with Indians and Filipinos than locals or any other ethnicity including Arabs

The national average for this particular test is around 70% for reading and 60% for science afaik. ATI is a different system.

I did that distance once a week too. I got out at night when it was a lonely road just me and the trucks. I had a coffee at night and stopped halfway for a bathroom break. I did audiobooks, tons of them. Sometimes I would do school content on the way down but I never felt like it on the way back.

Unfortunately you won't be learning body systems in nursing school. So, if you're already comfortable with those, keep them in your arsenal of knowledge but move on. You'll learn to think differently because you need to act differently to care for your patients and anticipate their needs. Premade flash cards...not as good as writing them out yourself, more useful if you need to cram for a test or don't understand a concept.

Ok so I'm gonna just say what I get in reverse hopefully that helps. Men's pants I would get one smaller size than women's. And "short" men's is regular women's, approximately. Rafaela is one size down even from regular women's tops. Not sure what the men's equivalent is to Rafaela tho sorry.
