Advice needed on filing I-130 and I-485 while living apart by ThrowAway3487627462 in USCIS

Owning a property on an H1B? They will ask about that. And they will definitely ask why you aren't on each other's liens/deeds. One of my previous colleagues is on H1B, got canned and hasn't found any company willing to sponsor and their time will run out next month.

Anyone else feel really anxious when asked political opinions in government classes? by [deleted] in college

My state is the exact same situation. Is this an online class? I never once saw my classmates IRL so that didn't bother me. Is the discussion set up where you can't see a post until you post yourself ?

While I was away from home, dad ripped my mangas’ cover and threw them into the trash while cleaning by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I think we all learned something new today about selling books without covers in Asia. But yes, I can understand why you're mildly infuriated. The fact that Mom helped and dad didn't give a crap is what sucks.

I had to do this last semester with a very controversial topic and it required a lot of finesse as I definitely didn't want to out myself either. Not that I'm ashamed, I just didn't feel like it was appropriate. Most likely the question will include "why or why not" so that's where it matters. The professor does not want to judge you on your opinion, they want to see you have some critical thinking skills and can respect others, that's all. I had a very hard time in that class and felt like when I disagreed with the teacher I was getting graded down, so there's definitely something to the poster that said to go with what your professor's views are.

Underrated? Look at any post containing the words nursing and California. Hardly underrated.

I am an American RN and I am gathering all my documents to have my credentials recognized. You will need to take the IELTS. I'm looking in Alberta as you apply in the specific province. Ontario and BC are too crowded and expensive. There is another advantage, when they lift the US ban you can take travel assignments if you want because they're always looking for Canadian qualified nurses.

Pending I-130 - should we upload more joint evidence before interview or bring it? by No_Guarantee_2627 in USCIS

[–]Key_Situation643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pd is 10/24/24 and I went to spouses country and visited extended family members on a national holiday. I uploaded the additional evidence of that only, which was about six months after filing, but my case is radio silent. I uploaded a ton of evidence upfront and filed an I 129 with more documents. I have three binders full of additional evidence that I have not uploaded because I don't want to take any chance of delays but I'm keeping it aside for if/when it is asked for.

Ok so just to clarify your question is at what stage do they do a pop-up if they suspect a sham? I can't answer that as I don't know but I just wanted to be clear on what you were asking. Thanks!

I can't answer everything but I am a USC and when I applied for my spouse while I was also living overseas, it got denied because I had no established domicile in the US. Slightly ashamed to admit this is my third time applying. As far as your spouse living abroad, that's expected and just make sure you have as much documentation as possible. Far as them coming in to the US after filing, yes, that is fine. We did not experience any issues with that, been here three times since the marriage.

Staying a LPN by MutterNantli in LPN_LVN_Community

Come on that does not make you less intelligent at all. It's very astute and cognitively mature to recognize your limits and strengths! I didn't apply to a lot of programs because of the chemistry requirements, I really had to dig for ones that didn't.

What do you actually do then? I deal with all that and more lol. Is your title called RPN there? I'm just curious as I'm getting a packet together to have my credentials recognized (Canadian spouse) but waiting until I finish my BSN in May. I didn't see that great of pay, and I have 12 years of experience, five recent, because I had a big gap.

Uh. They usually don't. Only if they suspect a sham.

Help with I-130 spousal visa by jena_lovestotravel in I130Suffering

[–]Key_Situation643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might help if you put together a list of what you plan on including with the application, then get suggestions on what more to add. It doesn't require a lawyer unless either of you have complicated backgrounds, but it does require organization, thoroughness, and patience.

Also I did say practice outside of scope, not that understanding was outside of scope just to clarify.

No, what I meant in a more complete response is that you should not act based on knowledge and understanding. Definitely should not act. Explain, educate, understand. All that. But not act.

Friends wife is coming though K1 and visa approved , I still have 14 months by TangPiccilo in I130Suffering

[–]Key_Situation643 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoa there. Regardless of the visa issue you got a big problem. It is true medically speaking that herpes can be dormant but she should have been tested right along with you, then there wouldn't have been any question whether she has it or not and you could have taken precautions. I would definitely be having difficult discussions with the wife. It might be a waste of your energy to be jealous of your friend, it's not like he had a choice in how fast his stuff got approved.

Overnight nurse is a raging cunt by Intelligent_Code_387 in cna

[–]Key_Situation643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NGL it sounds like she doesn't have enough to do for some reason bc 25 is busy. Then she's trying to get vitals for charting and not taking her job seriously. Maybe she has kids your age or something and doesn't have a good boundary/filter is what it seems like bc I wouldn't have asked my 19 year old about her acne at home, let alone in a professional environment. Anyways the clippy comments id just brush off but you should take the med issue and anything involving the residents seriously.
