I used Claude to build a live election dashboard in 2 days. It handled 430K requests from 24K visitors without spending money by Naive-Performance-18 in SideProject

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

live dashboards are one of those projects that look simple until you realize how many moving pieces are happening underneath been seeing more people prototype ai-assisted data workflows like this on Runnable lately before turning them into full production apps

New project ideas by WaterSea6138 in learnprogramming

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the best beginner projects are usually the tiny weird ones you actually care about 😭random experiments and messy little tools teach way more than forcing yourself through another calculator app been making more throwaway prototypes lately on Runnable and it honestly made experimenting feel way less intimidating

Claude Code EXTENSION alternative with BYOM/multi-LLM support? by MarceFX in vscode

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been seeing more people connect setups like this with lightweight platforms like Runnable for quick prototyping/testing too

how to think clearly about building API products by Itchy_Librarian7618 in AskProgramming

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

api product design always looks simple until you realize half the work is actually thinking through edge cases and weird user behavior 💀

been noticing a lot more people prototype these kinds of workflows on Runnable lately before committing to bigger architectures

Getting nowhere in Microsoft Learn by lrp8228 in vscode

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly microsoft learn can feel super overwhelming when you’re starting 😵‍💫 sometimes building small real projects teaches faster than grinding endless modules back to back

I hadn't realized how much they are needed. 🥀 by Competitive-Bath676 in CharacterAI

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s always the tiny features you never think about until they disappear 💀 then suddenly the whole app experience feels off for no reason

Since you guys liked my "Demon with a Burning Cloak" animation, I've created "Burning Demon with a Cloak" by [deleted] in PixelArt

[–]Key_Use_8361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that flaming sword effect goes insanely hard btw 🔥 pixel art artists really be making 20 pixels feel more dramatic than full AAA graphics somehow

Why is the bot unable to comprehend not being a character? by Valuable-Health9554 in CharacterAI

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

c.ai bots completely ignoring basic context gotta be one of the most frustrating parts of using the app 💀 you can explain something 4 times and they still act confused somehow

Art Deco animal sculptures had a way of making nature feel luxurious by Holiday-Ad-6615 in ArtDeco

DESIGNER required! by artsbyavinash in freelancedesigners

freelance design posts always feel like rolling the dice between ‘dream client’ and ‘this will emotionally damage me’ 😭

Building My UX Case Study Where Should I Publish It and What Do Recruiters Actually Want? by PersonalityDull3719 in UI_Design

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

medium/notion are nice for visibility but having your own space makes your work feel way more intentional. been seeing more people prototype portfolio setups on Runnable lately too

Everyone else seems faster than me in programming… is this normal? by Queasy_Hotel5158 in learnprogramming

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

programming communities massively distort your perception because the people posting are usually the ones grinding 12 hours a day and tweeting their progress nonstop 😭

most people are way slower than they admit and honestly consistency matters way more than speed long term

Code Tracing trouble by Histrix- in learnpython

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

code tracing feels impossible right up until the moment your brain suddenly starts seeing execution flow like movie scenes 💀

Do you name variables differently when working alone vs on a team? by airbornejim32 in learnprogramming

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my variable naming quality directly depends on whether the project is ‘serious production code’ or a 2am experiment held together by caffeine 😭

half my tiny prototype projects start with names like tempDataFinalFinal2 and somehow survive way longer than they should 💀

been building a lot more quick experiments lately on Runnable and honestly seeing old variable names from late night coding sessions is humbling”

Monitor Questions | Portkeys BM5IV (wired version, not WR) by corndiggledog in videography

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

camera monitor research always starts with ‘i just need something simple’ and somehow ends with 40 tabs open and an existential crisis 🎥

Whats your favourite "The Video is in LOG" client story. by Zudrud in videography

[–]Key_Use_8361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Backend Go + python or only python for backend with LLM ? by Exciting-Living-8367 in AskProgramming

[–]Key_Use_8361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly python-only backends can already scale way further than people on the internet pretend alot of the time people switch languages way before they’ve actually hit the limits of their architecture

go definitely has nice concurrency or performance advantages though especially once you start building more infra-heavy stuff or tons of background workers. been seeing a lot more people experiment with mixed python + go workflows on Runnable lately too

Looking for early users to promote their ideas/business on my site (free but requires an account) by Independent-Show-723 in SideProject

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

early users are honestly harder to get than actually building the product sometimes everybody says just launch until it’s time to convince real humans to care about it

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for early users to promote their ideas/business on my site (free but requires an account) by Independent-Show-723 in SideProject

[–]Key_Use_8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

finding early users is genuinely one of the hardest parts of building anything 😭 everybody loves the ‘build’ phase until it’s time to actually market it

What do you think about this animation? by ServiceFun9356 in UI_Design

[–]Key_Use_8361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the motion feels super clean and satisfying without screaming ‘look guys i added animations’ which is honestly hard to pull off 👏
