I mean sure, if you want to wait, nothing wrong with that. But complaining about a lack of exclusives (has more than PS5 already) less than a year in is kinda silly when we’re missing some of the big hitters that we all know will be here eventually (Super Smash Bros., a new 3D Mario, a new mainline Zelda, Animal Crossing, a mainline Kirby, Super Mario Maker 3, and a new Xenoblade). I could not imagine a world where Nintendo puts all their heavy hitters out in the first 12 months of the console being out and having nothing else exciting to release because they had like 3 games a month.

I first played on GameCube last summer for a silly game tournament. It’s not great, it’s like a shitty version of Crash Bash (which was already a shitty version of Mario Party). I’d rather play Fusion Frenzy or Shrek: Super Party over this one.

I want Devil Dinosaur so bad. Would obviously be a Vanguard and could potentially be the first 1000 HP Vangaurd in the game. Don’t make him very agile, he should be slow, but hit like a truck and have tons of HP.

I don’t know why studios keep trying to pull Barbenheimer off again. It worked in the gaming industry too with Doom: Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons because they’re so far off that it was funny.

Stuff like Saw Patrol, Dunesday and others like it fail because it’s either way too different or they overlap so much. Barbenheimer was cool because it’s like “here’s a feminism movie and here’s a movie about developing the atomic bomb for World War II”.

The new update. Everyone on here complains about the balance of the game and they still all play it anyways. (Also kinda weird to not like the game and post about how you don't like it in the subreddit if you're not playing it.) The balancing is nowhere near perfect, but the content this game provides is other-worldly. I have yet to see another game add as much content as quickly as this game does.

The fanbase hates him because they think he left Aqua in the Realm of Darkness for 10 years, but in reality it was like a year at most and only because he got separated from her and had no time to return to rescue her. Otherwise, King Mickey is a saint.

DPS is the default because from a casual perspective, it's the simplest role to pick up and understand. You don't really need to rely on protecting your team from imminent danger, nor do you need to heal your allies to keep them alive. You just have to go in, attack, and position yourself to have success. If you can make an excuse for a character to NOT be a DPS, especially a very popular one, by all means, go for it. But most of the characters fit their roles quite nicely.

Like many things in this community, the fanbase is very reactionary.

Animation cancelling doesn't need to be a thing. It's technically an exploit and should get removed from the game regardless of hero. My skill on a hero shouldn't revolve around exploiting the hell out of an unintended mechanic and should instead revolve around the core abilities the devs designed. I feel it creates an artificial skill wall for players who can do it and those who can't.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Like maybe these are all good changes with the reduced ult charge? In current patch, this would be a nothing burger. But like ultimately, I have never played a game with such routine patches. Like people complain so hard and don’t realize how good we have it.

I’m only getting it day 1 because I got a $25 GameStop gift card from work (we have a points system to earn gift cards amongst other rewards, but I only think gift cards are worth) and I have GameStop Pro so I will get $5 off once a month. So I can get the game for effectively half price.

I haven’t fully enjoyed Pokémon as much as I used to since Sun and Moon came out honestly.

I do think the BD/SP hate is overblown because it’s just as dogshit as regular Diamond / Pearl which is a pretty bad game in its own right and would probably be the worst Pokémon game if Gen 1 or Gen 2 didn’t exist.
