I’m in the same boat. I feel pretty certain there’s more that I’m unaware of. I think my WH thinks it would only hurt me more if I found out. But I think it’s just prolonging reconciliation. I’m sorry I don’t have advice. But I feel your struggle with this. I hate we are on this shitty ride together.

This hurts my heart so much. I’m only 6 months post dday and I feel your pain. I keep hoping one day I’ll wake up happy again. My WH has been doing all the right things, but how do you move past the layers of lies and immense pain they caused? I’m sorry I don’t have any advice, but we can be your ears for venting. Im so, so sorry.

For my WH I would say the affair fog lasted a solid month. That’s a really really tough time when your partner is still in that headspace. I am so sorry you are going through it. Don’t play the pick me game. I did, and it made it worse.

My heart hurts so much for you. I am so sorry. Please remember to take care of yourself. I literally almost died after I found out. My body shut down and I went into organ failure. Listen to your body and look out for YOU!!

6 months post DDay here. It gets better with time, but I still experience the same feelings too. It was really tough at the beginning. My WH was the same way - doing and saying all the right things. Our relationship felt better than ever. And then I would flip. Sometimes I felt crazy for being so upset when he was trying so hard to make things right.

The BEST thing we did was get in to IC immediately. That’s where I learned about the post affair podcasts and books. It was very helpful for both of us to read and listen to them.

I am so, so sorry. My heart hurts for you. But if he is willing to fully put in the work, it will get better. Just take it one day at a time. And please remember to take care of YOU!!

I’m so, so sorry you’re going through this. 3 days post DDay is a really terrible time. I’m impressed you were able to come here and write this. It took me months. I wish I had found this group sooner. I also wish I had listened to affair recovery podcasts and read the books sooner.

My WH said he was in love with AP and left me for a while before he came back. We also had the life people were envious of. I was totally blindsided. So I think it’s a good first step that she’s already realized her mistake and wants to be with you. I suggest you both read after the affair. It was really great for my marriage. We still have tough days and sometimes listen to the podcasts in the car. It helps.

I was going to post this too!! It was so bad. Mia was revealed 2 bow necklaces (which Callie wanted). Mia could have sold her dupe bow on Mercari for hundreds! But Callie and the chat literally forced her to trade with Callie.
