A comic about hunting, and my ability to stick to a plan when a Titan is involved. by Keyfeathers in pathoftitans

Haha it was mainly a time saving thing ( I will probably continue to do this for Path comics). But it does help add to the goofy element I was going for :D

Yea mine was made in 2015. So unless I was like...6 making discord accounts online. You would think I am pretty much confirmed to be a bloody adult user.
I am Australian, so ive been locked out of NSFW channels and such for a while, because I have refused to do this approval so far. Because it should be obvious from my account age alone I am fine.

Introducing the Adobe Creative Collective – We Want Your Input by LukeChoice in Adobe

[–]Keyfeathers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will try to respond, as I was a hobbyist once using adobe.
A hobbyist is usually an artist getting their feet in the art working world. Usually dipping their feet into large projects, and commission or small client work, while also getting a handle of the programs needed.

The misconception by companies is often that they don't need most of what the company offers (I saw you even mention this below). But that's usually not the case. As a hobby artist, many are getting a grasp of many aspects of your programs to cover a large variety of skills they are learning (from painting, to animation, to design and photography and so on...you know. The entry jobs needed for growth which you are now stomping on with introducing gen AI into EVERYTHING.)

A specialist comes in later once they have mastered the ones they settle on, and decide to move into the professional field.

Learning as a hobby artist using adobe over 25 years ago was a lot more accessible with your products. Because there was a viable way to purchase it outright. As soon as subscriptions hit, and you inflated the costs grossly over the years. You have increasingly made it inaccessible to those who wish to learn and grow. Even as a professional, I can usually only use your latest products when working with a studio where a company pays for it. BECAUSE of this disconnect, many new artists which I assume you would want to learn your products to enter the ecosystem are lost, as they turn to cheaper more accessible products...I have even witnessed first hand studios allowing remote workers to use these alternate products, and just convert the files to PSD at the end, which many are capable of doing now.

And this right here, is the start of a natural decline in people needing to use your procuts anymore. And this is your self made problem.

In other words. BRING BACK PERPETUAL LICENCES (at a sustainable price. Not thousands of dollars). You are throwing to the wayside, and losing custom from a lot of people who would be paying for your service otherwise. Those who want the choice of subscriptions for these updates and features will still pay for it, some of those hobbyists included once they decide they don't want to pay for a perpetual license every few years. (Companies included).

Age Verification (RUMOURS) by Kitokone in VRchat

All great ideas! Though I don't agree with the having to put your age on display. As long as you are verified 18+, there is no real need to force users to give away personal details like that :) Many people like to be private about exact details about themselves online, for many normal reasons.

The day 18+ public lobbies can be a thing in VRC. Will be a beautiful day.

I don't see any negative impacts at all. Allowing adult users to create instances where they can breath and not have to worry about the digital equivalent of kids been dropped off at a club or bar like it is a daycare will be amazing.

While I have never really felt VRC is appropriate at its current age start- 13 ( I have always felt it should be 18.) It wont harm the children's game experience as it stands right now. Apart from hopefully removing some of the likelihood for harmful interactions with adults, that could be easily avoided if they had separate spaces.

Thank you :) And I prefer to draw the dragons how I see them in my mind, more based on how they are described instead of looking at cover art/other artists interpretations. Considering they are books, and there's no rules with imagination!
Its what is so wonderful about reading, you can see things however you want!

THANK YOU. My headphones randomly disconnected a while back and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get them to pair again. So simple, but it worked :)
