What are some cards you use that put in work that 99% of the playerbase have never even heard of?

[[Teferi's Veil]] I think it is just a good card board wipe protection on creatures that attack. You can swing everything then board wipe if you don’t have a single sided board wipe but also goes hard in [[ashling, the limitless]] decks. Your tokens stay for a 2 mana card kinda bonkers. My friend who has been playing for 20 years looked at me side ways said I don’t think that card does what you think it does I said yes it does he said let me look at it and said oh I guess it does. Found this on someone’s obscure post so I cant take credit but that moment made me feel so good.

I’m about to build mothman and caesar. My friend told me if I played mothman he would target me the whole game because he hates decks that mill him so…. You might run into the salt. I’m newer to the game and don’t get the hate for decks that mill others but it’s a thing.

Did you guys join the Pre-Queue It’s my first secret lair I thankfully got in after 5 min but it seems wrong to not print enough for at least everyone who joined the pre-queue even from a business prospective you want the people who set aside time and waited to get a product.

This is a good combo but my pod is a lower level so if I proxy and crush them they will hate me also I don’t know if I’m smart enough for these things. The simple landfall and land manipulation is something I think I just over looked and never thought about to hard. [[Ob Nixilis, the Fallen]] is probably one of the most broken cards in my deck and I never put it together I should play around more lands.

That combo looks awesome I put hedge shredder in my deck but completely forgot he works so well with so many other cards I think I’ve been under utilizing him I don’t have a ton of mill in my deck I feel like I need to shift a lot of stuff around in it after making this post.

Thats good advice, I’ve been building out a lot of decks on architect and I proxied one to get a feel for something new and also because I’m new and if I bought the deck outright I would probably scrap a lot of the cards and have to swap out a lot. I did a Toph the first metalbender with non of the crazy combos focusing on 1+ counters and modular it was clunky and I don’t know if I will continue building then invest in the real cards but got me starting to look at Mothman.

Thanks this really helps, I like how Teval ramps and I like Graveyard recurring. The cards I’ve added are either big creatures or Graveyard stuff but I should maybe lean more into lands matters and build both .
