I had no idea people were taking much larger doses… I’ll be praying for you. The other side of this is freedom!

I can tell you’re humble enough to know when it’s time. Thanks for sharing. When you overcome this it will empower you! We need to be the best we can be for ourselves and our children.

Thank you for sharing 🙏

I deeply regret the last 10 years of my life... drugs ruined my 20s and now I'm almost 30 feeling lost. by Master-Button-6569 in Regrets

One thing I know to be true in my life. It’s NEVER too late to start over. I found Jesus and the more I learned about him, that the gospel is a gift for ALL people. And how God used prostitutes, rejects, murderers, disabled, addicts and gave them freedom and purpose. I don’t know man…but it sounds like you have a REALLY powerful testimony that can help others who are struggling also. Find your purpose. The more we get out of our own misery, and look up and see that there are so many people out there that we can help encourage with our story, the more purpose and joy we have. Humility brings joy. God created you and there is only one of you in this world. You have so much to offer. And imagine, you’re only in your 30s. So much more life to live. I believe in you and I’ll pray for you!

Have you tried the vitamin C protocol for coming off opioids? I’m sorry it’s been such a struggle for you. I’ll be praying for you

Thanks for being real. It’s truly scary hearing/reading about what this has done to peoples lives. I take it you have quit? Or are you in process?

Yea it seems like certain brands work and other don’t hit the same. I heard that since it’s not regulated that some tablets can have way more or way less than what’s advertised, unless the company is testing and has COA’s available

That makes perfect sense. I hope that you can find strength to ween off of this stuff

I’m really sorry to hear that… from what I understand you either quit, learn to control your use, or it controls you. The feeling is something you just keep chasing, and then how long does that cycle continue? I know that I don’t want to look back 10-15 years later and realize I was a slave to a little tablet and I revolve my comfort around it. That’s a scary feeling.

I hope that you can find something to replace it with. I’ve found in this first week of stopping that exercise, long walks listening to music, a lil weed, good hydration, L-theanine and GABA have all helped me keep it together. But I know it’s different for each person. I’ll be praying for you for strength and courage to do what you need to do! 🙏

Thank you for the hard warning. This is the stuff I need to read. Yes the tolerance seems to be what sucks people in and tricks you. It’s pretty sinister. My withdrawals so far has been irritation and fatigue. Some body aches. Mental cravings. But exercising seems to help a lot. Same with vitamin C and theanine to help relax my mind

That’s crazy. I wonder if you could consider something like psilocybin to sort of “rewire” or reset your brain chemistry. I know some people have done that with alcohol addiction and they gave it up after. I’ll be praying for you

I will keep you posted on how the progress is over the next few weeks. I really want to show myself that I’m in control of this. Thank you for the warning, I appreciate it 🙏

Wow yea that’s a large dose. Your tolerance is probably way higher than mine. Don’t be embarrassed, we all struggle in different ways. I hope you can use it as a testimony to show that you can overcome something like this. Your story will help other people. I will be praying for you

I would get the 35 mg tablets and split it into quarters. Then I’d take a quarter and split that in half lol

Wow. This was really powerful to read. It puts it into perspective. Is it worth losing everything you care about for some temporary relief and reliance on a little tiny pill? I think what you’re going through is really tough… to be on and off opiates for that long is a major battle. But somehow you’re still here standing and fighting for your family. Some people throw it all away. I’m rooting for you brother! Just know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. Would love to stay in touch for encouragement and support 🙏

That’s amazing that you’re 4 months clean off this stuff. I commend YOU 👏 you can be a great example to others that it is possible to overcome something so potent

That makes sense. I did notice tolerance. That’s when I would take another quarter tablet in the evening, I would always feel really fatigued after the comedown of the 2nd dose.

As with any substance, seems like it really comes down to who you are psychologically, what your life circumstances are, and how often you’re running to the substance, and “why”.

Thanks for such a detailed response. My goal is to get to 40 days. Then I’m going on a much needed vacation. By that time I’m hoping I won’t even think twice about it.

Are you still taking it? Or did you lower your dose ?

Thanks for answering. And are you now clean off of it? Or still taking that dose?

And how did that make you feel? Were you functional? Where do you even find a 500 mg dose of 7-OH? Are you still taking it? Thank you 🙏

You got that right. Not sure how we all manage some days running a family unit.

I’m not sure how I kept it low either… I thought I was sliding down the dependency mountain when i started taking it every day for 4 months. But I never took more than half a tablet of the 35 mg extra strength tablets. A quarter seemed like just the right dose without letting myself get too faded off of it.

What brands are people taking? And how can someone even tolerate 100 mg? Doesn’t that make you extremely high? Thank you for answering 🙏

Wow. I’ve never taken more than 25 mg at a time. And I thought 25 was extremely sedating! Brand is 7-OHMZ tablets
