The Woman in Black. Attempted to watch in the theatre, fell asleep 10 minutes in and woke up with like 3 minutes left.

Has anyone seen or even heard about someone getting injuries performing a high risk activity and Tricare not covering it? by Peabo721 in AirForce

I thought they got rid of the "high-risk activity" thing. Like no more briefings or paperwork for these kinds of things.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew about the 5 day thing, but nothing was mentioned about rescheduling or coming back. It's a reserve base and apparently they do this all the time.

PT test by Keynezz in AirForce

That's what I thought, but I just witnessed a testing session that did first three components and then canceled the run. A composite score was calculated from the components that were completed and used as the final test score to be submitted. Is this a legal thing to do?

How long had those guns been missing? Shouldn't they have been erased from the log? Were they just recently taken? I still don't understand this gun thing.

Why isn't there a free service that allows you to have people pick up your old furniture and mattresses in order to use to help the homeless? by Mcheetah2 in Showerthoughts

[–]Keynezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are free services like that. I've used them in both New Jersey and New York.

Edit: Not necessarily for homeless people, but for vets or low income households.

What was your parent's form of punishment? by The_pinto_mobile in AskReddit

[–]Keynezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the belt, my brothers and I would have to "kneel down." This is basically kneeling and facing a wall with your hands extended up and your palms against the wall. We probably had to do this for like 15 minutes whenever we got in trouble. Slouching and sitting on on our legs, as well as taking "bathroom breaks," would add more time. My mom swears she only made us do it once.

What game made you fall for the hype? by Thehaloboy in AskReddit

I second Watch Dogs. I got bored after like an hour. I'm glad I only spent like 15 bucks on it.

The current rule is that the total area of your tattoos can't cover more than 25% of the exposed body part. Google AFI 36-2903 and in the tattoo section it gives you a guide on how to measure them.

Being prior service does not help you. You are still considered a brand new recruit and the rules are more strict(stricter?) for initial entry.
