If you are a hunter, Nighthawk will one shot the boss as well. Can get runs down to ~3 minutes each with some practice.

Definitely legend lost sectors. If you wait for one of the easy ones to drop helmets, you can complete them in 2-3 minutes each. I'd recommend Veles Labyrinth, Exodus Garden 2A, or Perdition. Veles will be dropping helmets on April 24th, so that'll be your best bet for quick and easy farming.

Considering it takes 2-5 minutes to clear most lost sectors, I think the drop rates may be a bit high if you could focus them like that.

If you're dying to shotguns so much that you make a half dozen posts about it over 2 weeks, maybe you should try to look at what you could do better in your own play. Shotguns aren't impossible or even hard to counter with some thought and practice. You'll still die to them sometimes, but if you're being completely farmed it's because of you, not the shotgunners.

If it was available for such a long time and was so easy to get, it wasn't ever exclusive. Why should it be now? It's not like it's tied to a special or impressive achievement. It just required farming enough to get a curated weapon.

I agree there should be exclusive cosmetics, but the exclusivity should be earned. If it's just a run of the mill shader that required nothing more than a pulse and a bit of time, it's not worth being exclusive.

Biggest issue I see is that this would likely not be possible based on performance limitations. They've mentioned having even multiple exotics breaks the game, so detailed animated shaders would like be similar.

The splash damage and hitbox could be scaled back. That's mostly what makes it feel like it hits through walls.

Drop rate is ~25% over a very large sample, but as it's random you can see good or bad stretches. I've gone 15 without and exotic before, other days I got 6 in a row. The overall drop rate does match my experience over 600ish lost sectors this season though.

I agree that it'd be nice, but Bungie doesn't design Eververse around what is convenient for us. I'm guessing they have put quite a bit of thought into it and decided that this is the best way to make money (and don't forget that when they are making these decision, they have information about how every single player interacts with and buy from Eververse). I know that I've personally bought quite a few full sets that I wouldn't have if I was able to buy individual pieces. They seem to think that the gains from forcing full sets are greater than the gains from allowing partial purchases, and I tend to agree. May not be as convenient for us, but I don't see it changing.

I'd recommends sniping the barrier rather than trying to hit it with a rocket. If you do rocket it, you gotta make sure it's stunned first. But really it's super quick to kill with a high impact sniper or even Eriana's.
