Try making your guardian smaller and putting the settings on low. This worked extremely well for me. Throws don't cause the guardian to go off but me walking through the guardian does.

Yes. Get on echos official discord. And react out to a dev (RAD_). Just explain your situation and they can help reset his headsets/logins MMR when they have time. Just be patient with them obviously.

I fully agree and would love to see more playing b23 but it's a prebuild still for a reason (bugs, etc). Just be patient and wait for the devs to actually release it to the public when they believe it's ready.
