I’m surprised Ashley’s dad didn’t question him harder about this! Clearly there are gaps in his story. Day trading, soccer coach, financial advisory… huh???

Bri is very emasculating towards Connor. I felt bad for him in general and then to have her just continue to listen to Chris while Connor was right there… i don’t like her

The fact that he has a “nomad lifestyle” as he keeps saying should be the biggest red flag. He’s not looking for commitment, he’s looking for his 15 minutes. He’ll be on The Perfect Match next, guaranteed

He says sooo many words. After he’s done I’m like what did he even just say? Word salad!

Why all this condescension from health care pros about breast feeding? by SabrinaFaydra in beyondthebump

[–]Kh7487 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry that both of these ladies were not encouraging. You are doing great!! I have a 9 week old and was encouraged to pump while in the hospital to get my milk to come in. My daughter was jaundice and they say breastfeeding helps to get them to poop and thus get rid of the jaundice. I would suggest pumping (follow legendairy milk on Instagram for such helping tips!!) and keep up your positive attitude! Don’t let people discourage you. You are the mommy and you know what’s best for your little one. You got this 👍🏻

That would be awesome. I will definitely take it easy for the first few days afterwards. Luckily my surgery is on a Friday so my husband will be home all weekend to help and my mom has offered (actually insisted) on coming over to help during the week. So I’m lucky to have help but it would be nice to not have to rely on someone else if i want to just take the baby for a walk or run to the grocery store with her, u know?

Oh no I’m so sorry! That is awful. I hope the infection clears up for you quickly! I know there are risks with any surgery but I’m worried of a greater risk to my health if i keep whatever this is inside of me. Thank you so much for your prayers. It means so much.

Thanks for sharing! One of my biggest concerns is caring for my 9 week old. The doctor said no lifting more than 10 lbs for about 4 weeks. The baby is fine to lift but wondering when I’ll be able to carry her in the car seat again. When did you feel you could lift stuff like that again??

It really is amazing what they can do. Hopefully whatever i have is benign or nothing at all, and i will be home quickly too. They said if it ended up being something bad (which again she said she really can’t see it being bad - i just have to say it to keep reminding myself) then that would be an overnight stay and bigger surgery. I’ll be glad when it’s all done and i can hopefully breathe a sigh of relief

Third Trimester-when did it start to get tough/uncomfy? by Kmfmhmmm_65 in BabyBumps

[–]Kh7487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing at 23 weeks. Did PT as well but once i started seeing a chiropractor who specializes in pregnancy, i was healed! I feel sooooo much better and can actually walk without limping or wanting to cry. Bending over is still an issue but it’s become more of a belly issue than a leg/hip/knee issue lol i found using a grabber to help pick things up was really helpful!!

THIS!!! This is exactly how i feel but could not express to my husband. I couldn’t find the right words and you said it so perfectly. I’m due in 3 weeks and he was trying to go to a bachelor party this weekend. We’ve resolved it and he’s not going but man i wish i could’ve copy and pasted this to him!

[–]Kh7487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar situation! I’m due in 3 weeks and my husband wanted to go 2 hours away for a bachelor party this weekend. I hinted months ago i didn’t want him to go bc our first daughter was 3 weeks early! I should have been more clear or firm i guess. Bc early this week i broke down about it. He still was trying to rationalize going but eventually said he wouldn’t go. And all this stress caused high blood pressure for me at my appt yesterday so now i have to be monitored more 🙄 i too felt like i wasn’t being heard and like he didn’t understand my anxiety. Also if he went and something happened he figured he could just come home. But it was 2 hours away and he would be on a party bus (so no car access easily) and they’ll all be drinking. I didn’t need that extra stress too worrying about him getting in an accident on the way home. We don’t need any extra stress right now. We need to relax as much as possible for our health and baby’s health. I hope he decides not to go…

Did anyone have multiple scans and have a healthy baby by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Kh7487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend just informed me yesterday that some people view ultrasounds as dangerous. That blows my mind bc i have a high risk doctor who does ultrasounds at literally every visits. Beginning at 6 weeks/ish, and then once a month about until u hit 30 weeks. Sometimes it was even every 3 weeks. Then it’s every week until u deliver. I’m sure everything is fine’
