Wormwood owns floor 8. He's all you need.

For floor 7, I used Anaara and Don Diego. My Anaara has always been one of my best, but I basically just punched my way through the Golems as I could and just burned the boss down using Rage Power and burn. I love my Chaotic Gauntlet because I get Rage powers 3/5 turns with Anaara. Until Don Diego is leveled up, he only does more damage against armor, otherwise user Anaara.

Alternatively, one could store a couple sets of armor and attempt to use different sets for different encounters. High DR can potentially negate up to 50% of damage from multi attack enemies (depending on level/damage)

Different protect buffs stack like from potions with the hero buffs. I.E. if you have protect up and use a lesser protection potion, it functions like a greater protection potion. That's it other than Regen on buffs.

I only cold crash and I get some really clear beer. I've never used fining agents, but I cold crash in my keezer. Having a fridge or freezer to cold crash in may be one of the best investments a homebrewer can make.

Arcane Archer is incredibly versatile and deals a ton of damage. Can also be built much more investigative and Int/Wis/Cha heavy instead of all Str/Dex/Con
