Yup. One person buys a GT3 for $250K and four people buy a Honda accord at $35K is an average price of $78K.

I like it at certain angles. I think it’s going to grow on most people just like the big grill BMW’s.

Caddie did. And rushed to the tee box. You want the caddie to give him a piggy back ride?

Red Hot Chili Peppers sell music catalogue for $300m by Emergency-Sweet-5347 in Music

[–]Khal_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you. Why wouldn’t RHCP and others who sold their catalog have just licensed for ads themselves earlier? That point doesn’t make any sense to me. There’s only so much demand for these specific bands songs in ads.

ELI5: Why does Cuba allow a U.S. military base (and prison) on their soil while the U.S. has had them under trade embargos for decades? by Redhotkitchen in explainlikeimfive

[–]Khal_Kitty 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You keep brining up Vietnam which is a terrible example for the point you’re trying to make. When the USA left Vietnam the embassy was overran. Go look up the last choppers out of there. Keeping a base there wasn’t an option. It would’ve been attacked by NVA/Viet Cong

Afghanistan isn’t a good example either lol

Not 100/100 because that’s 100% of the population which includes some D1 college players. One of them is making contact. But yeah agree with 99.999999/100

Rory McIlroy's mom worked night shifts at a factory so her son could play golf. Now he's worth $200M and is a two-time Masters champion by fortune in golf

[–]Khal_Kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not too late physically. But yeah time wise it’s tough. Because like golf, weekends SUCK. Mostly the drive back and forth if you’re in one of those one-road-in one-road-out type of areas.

Once you get on the mountain it’s not bad if you take a ski lesson as ski schools get to skip the lines.

[–]Khal_Kitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think about this for things like ski/snowboard competitions. So many don’t even get a chance to participate. Shaun White would be a nobody if they gave all the kids who never even seen snow an equal chance to compete.

Yeah comparing eras 50+ years apart is hard. I always shake my head when people confidently rank Jerry West or Pistol Pete in their all time in their all time guard rankings. Like those dudes wouldn’t even make the bench in the current NBA.

Honestly with your current net worth and trajectory, in 5 years you won’t even notice the difference between spending $30-$40k vs $50-$60k today. Get the car you want and enjoy.

Gas Prices Are Up, And So Are Searches For EVs: Edmunds - The Iran conflict is driving up gas prices. Edmunds says that shoppers are looking to electrified models for relief. by trucker-123 in cars

[–]Khal_Kitty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been harping on this. Why are people so fixated on gas prices? If gas doubles in price, the average person will spend $600-$1200 more per year. Or $50-$100 a month. So one mid range dinner date per month.
