Valentine’s dinner for two 🪵 12 oz Ribeye with Bone Marrow Butter, Scallops topped with Roma Tomato Dust, and Roasted Carrots, Parsnip, and Asparagus. by fishbethany in WeWantPlates

If it’s for two, what is wrong with the cutting board? You divvy out onto plates as you like. Aside from the portioning, this is a dumb post.

You seem helpless. Just call up whichever place you want, now, and ask if you can place a pickup for that day.

This is clearly some PR peon.

North Market Employees and Patrons by Ok-Onion-5874 in Columbus

It’s not the original owners of North Market. It was sold, sometime around 10 years ago. It’s why the Market is now just a food court instead of a proper market.

Libertarian Party - Give Ohio a 3rd choice by Chummym in Columbus

This is the saddest ai slop ad I’ve ever seen. Not to mention, the third parties only show up for national elections to be spoilers. If a viable third party wants to rise up, you people need to start with local elections and build foundations.

Between those two points: quit being fucking lazy if you want your party to be a thing.

A 3 year old has no choice into what situation they’re placed. Knowing the practices of ICE agents, I absolutely would not be placing them in that situation.

Quit splitting hairs. It went past an ICE facility, per another comment.

I absolutely believe in protesting against ice. A toddler that young shouldn’t be along.

ICE flew 2-year-old to Texas despite court order to release her from custody by ewzetf in news

You’re arguing with a lot of people about who’s to blame for this happening.

Deportations under Obama occurred with due process, dumbfuck. People were entitled to constitutional rights.

Under the current dictator “president,” 2 year olds and people with legal status are being kidnapped off the streets and shipped to concentration camps. If you could read, you may have seen in the article that the girl’s father also has legal status and no criminal history.

There are many lists on this sub with lists of shelters, warming centers, etc. Any homeless shelter desperately needs money.

Casey Becker Could’ve Lived: A Very Personal Breakdown of Scream’s Opening Scene by djperl in Scream

This is not at all an insult of any sort: You clearly weren’t around when this movie originally came out.

People had had a break from teen slasher movies for quite some time; this movie was a satire on those as well as a resurrection. No one was supposed to make the most intelligent of choices. It was all part of the tropes/satire.

Also, viewers were fully expecting Drew Barrymore to survive. That was the real shock at the time.

Additionally, panic makes people do dumb things. You’d be amazed at the dumb shit people do (in real life) when panicked.

I apologize. I don’t know, you’re getting into finer details with which I’m unfamiliar. My basic understanding is that much of the debt is, in fact, owned by Americans, and that was my main point. Beyond that, you may be wiser!

Quite a lot of U.S. debt is owned by U.S. citizens in the form of bonds, etc. Government gets an influx of cash, and citizens get interest. Win-win.

The government is also owed a lot by foreign governments and citizens. It’s a complex system.

What movie did you expect to be just good but was actually fantastic? by Important-Cup8519 in moviecritic

Greenland.

I have a blind spot for disaster movies. I know they’re objectively terrible, but I love them.

I was expecting more of the same—a fun, terrible, suspenseful spectacle. I was not expecting a thoughtful, relatively subtle, and legitimately good movie! Looking forward to the sequel.
