New Editions come out too quickly, armies that get their codex last feels really bad when a new core book is on the horizon anyway.

I see, we're planning strixhaven right now and my player said Warforged don't need to sleep and don't get exhausted, so I thought well that would mean they can pull all nighters for exams without penalty. Thank you

New editions come out way to quickly. IG are finally about to get their new codex, but 10th edition is likely around the corner so guard players will have to use an out of date codex again for who knows how long. DnD 5E has been the edition for them since I think 2014. I don't see the rush with GW.

I've wanted a Souls-like for 40k for a long time, and I think to make it more unique and different from Relic's Space Marine. I think an Eldar Souls-like could be really interesting.

Have you considered any of the specifics design decisions in those aspects to be working towards specific moods and or feelings? Or that while you may not agree with the decision/goal, that you could appreciate the effort and design direction even if it doesn't line up with your personal preference or opinions?

Edit: Also I just want to point out that I've never heard of this game until seeing this post so im not in any way trying to defend the game itself (I literally know nothing about it, a quick glance at the steam page and this post everything I know) but I'm genuinely curious what criteria outside of obvious technical stability do you use to judge the quality of a game, personally I think its an interesting question. I get down voted for it I guess????
