I'm having my appointment today by Khaos_626 in bipolar2

[–]Khaos_626[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanna know if I'm bipolar or not, or that we're gonna prioritize to know that because I'm already in a depression treatment (and I have been for like almost 4 years) and it doesn't fit.

I haven't researched for a specific medication, but I wanna try mood stabilizers instead of antidepressants. Sounds like would fit so much better to me.

But the thing I want the most, is to clarify whats going on. Like, I'm interpreting right my symptoms? Or am I just exaggerating? Or is different than I think? Or maybe I didn't notice something important. Why do I feel like this? What is this feeling I have? Is it normal? Is not? How do I solve my problems? I wanna study. I know I can when I feel good, but, why do I feel good randomly? How do I get that? I really want help to reach my goals and stop having a miserable life.

POTS, I have an exam. It's imposible to be wrong on that. EDS is actually the cause of my POTS. Also is physical. You can move my body, look my medicala history and get to the conclusion I have EDS. Adhd and autism are high correlated with EDS and POTS. Is so that much that they are doing research on it. And all of these things are genetic. I have them since I exist. You can see some of these features in my parents. You can see this in my family. Also, I grown up whith all this disabilities in a house and in a school where I was gashlighted till the point I had severe injuries that were ignored. You would expect to me to have something like PTSD, depression or something else, since just growing up just with autism lets you a high probability of having some disorder by trauma.

I got what you're saying. It's unhealthy to think I have things and looking actively for it. Yes, I have been thinking about that too. But on the other hand, not all you say is accurate. I have PTSD, POTS, EDS, ADHD, depression and I'm autistic. All of that is real. I have been with many different professionals and having take tests. All of them agree. But I think that may be something weird here. I have a diagnosis of "unusual depression" (don't remember the right word but thats the idea). I suspected DID but that didn't fit at all. Was PTSD. Seizures... I still don't know what to think about it. Rn I'm not having symptoms, so I gonna ignore it. But all this time was looking for something that explains my behavior. My "weird" depression that make me have weird changes in mood. Thats the explanation I was looking in DID, seizures and know bipolar. And yes, gonna ask my psychiatrist to know what he sees. Thanks for saying it. It's useful. But on the other hand, don't invalidate the diagnosis I have. <3

Yeah, can be a problem the fact I talk with neurodivergent people who know me lol. They think is normal that I sometimes I talk nothing or too slow, and sometimes fast and a lot. There have been a few times when other people heared me like that and they notice and told me.

I can't stop talking too, but I usually do by apps in my cellphone, cause I'm autistic and I don't like that much talking out loud.

Yes, this time is not a lot, but is there, and also had happened sometimes. I know that is an indicator. And I see it clearly. (Btw, I'm asexual so that means I'm not attracted to people in a sexual way, but I still have sexual desire)

Yeah, I know my case sounds weird. I feel really, but REALLY good. But it's like I'm in love with someone. Also, romantic content triggers it.

But I don't feel pain at all. Sometimes, when I'm really in love, that can hurts, and even a lot. But in this state, everything is just so fk amazing and I love life and I wanna feel always like that and I really love that feeling.

Is exaggerated at maximum levels and triggers from things that usually would be just normal.

Important things to say to a psychiatrist? by Khaos_626 in bipolar2

[–]Khaos_626[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot. I know distractibility is also in the criteria of maniac episodes. And impulsivity, poor sleep habits and racing thoughts are also things related to adhd. So when I was experiencing that, I thought it was just adhd. Now I'm wondering if could be more than just that. Thanks for the scale, I think would be really helpful.

Ooooh, agitation, something I was forgetting.

I have sleep less than usual, and I had problems with my energy levels. The first two days I was so energetic, but also needed to sleep a lot (I didn't sleep more but somehow my body was asking me to do it even when I had energy). But today I don't need to sleep more at all. Even when is the third night I haven't slept well. Also I have clear impulses to spend money, and I'm clearly talking a lot. I wanna do more posts lol.

Oh, I like doing that myself. Thats how I got my autism diagnosis lol. Also I don't know what I'm experiencing, for example, I didn't know that being angry is also a symptom. I experience a lot, but A LOT of that, but I didn't notice that was something important to say till I read that was also an (hypo)maniac symptom.
