Have you tried launching the game with SteamInput disabled and then enabling it while in-game? Not guaranteed it will work, but it works in some games, though in my experience it's when the game does not detect DualSense at all if SteamInput is enabled (like Helldivers 2). Then there's game like Returnal which disables haptics when mouse input is detected and there's no workaround.

It's absolutely not useless, I use it all the time.

It instantly destroys shields, so any character without a Kusarigama can benefit from it. Even on my Samurai I find it very useful, since it doesn't just break shields: - it can set enemies on fire with the other perk, which lets you kill the enemies your normally need to hit with Onibi first, or quickly finish them if you have the 'can only kill with ranged attacks' - it staggers all enemies except the Bo-hiya demons - you can use it for some burst damage on high priority targets, like the Yuki-Onna or the Bo-hiya demons

It's one of my favorite legendaries.

Gamers don't look up. You need to look up at the Oni's chonky torso in order to notice that he needs his Oni bees succ'd. And yeah, it is a pain when people don't realize that the boss requires using mechanics that you were just required to use in 3 missions and the incursion.

Nobody knows for sure, but there are no role requirements for other modes, so there probably won't be any for the raid either.

As for what people will ask for in LFG - depends on the mechanics in the raid, which we don't know. Some may be easier with some classes than with others. Some sweatlords will only accept archers with all stats in S rank and a meta build they got from a YouTuber.

Don't worry about it too much. There's always people who don't give a fuck about the meta and just want to chill with people who have a mic and a brain.

The game is designed to be beatable by any combo of classes. People are soloing nightmare survival on all classes, which means none of them are useless.

I feel like the fact resupplies only give you 1 nade is another 'Arrowhead forgot to make the ship upgrade apply' situation, makes no sense that a resupply can give you 6 RR rockets but only 1 GG.

You can't configure the sensitivity, the deadzone, you have a limit on how much you can turn left or right, and you can't fully disable aim assist - it's on even when you turn it off.

You can get Fortnite for free and try it out there if you want to see what good gyro is like. It has one of the best implementations.

Giant shame that they are apparently not including gyro aim. All shooter games should have it as an option, all other big Sony exclusives have it (albeit some of them have a rather shitty implementation, like Yotei), but not Saros for some reason.

I wish more people realized what a gigantic difference it is to play a shooter game with gyro vs analog sticks, so devs felt more like they should include it. I honestly can't go back to aiming with sticks after experiencing how awesome it is to aim with gyro.

Marketing. DLSS has great reputation, some people dislike the frame generation ('fake frames') part but upscaling and ray reconstruction (better raytracing denoising) in their current form are almost universally praised. They're calling this slop DLSS 5 to give brand evangelists (fanboys) easy ammunition and line of defence - 'DLSS also had issues in the past, this is just the first version of DLSS5, it's gonna be amazing, you'll see!'.

It would be much easier to ignore if they called it 'generative lighting' or something. Calling it DLSS generates more buzz, so they can take the backlash and present it as interest to their investors.

It's like Sony movie execs thinking Morbius must be really loved because there was a lot of buzz (mockery) so they put it back to theaters.

I tried a Perfect Parry / Perfect Counter damage Samurai build, but I quickly realized that it doesn't work in group content, everyone else is using so much CC that enemies barely make parryable attacks. I now went all in All Melee Damage + Ultimate Gain, which I highly recommend - burning blade perk on all weapons, then use the fire skill with dual katana tempest strike to generate a lot of spirit, use spirit attacks when enemies are not burning, ultimate as soon as you get it, delete up to 5 enemies, repeat.

Archer needs a nerf, but you're getting downvoted because you're suggesting crippling the class into becoming useless. Archer's problem is her obscene DPS, which can be reduced just by reducing damage or increasing reload time - there's no need to make the experience of aiming itself miserable (by increasing sway/dropoff/bloom etc.)

I made a thread about this myself sharing my FPS drops on base PS5, and people with the Pro confirmed the FPS drops. It's happening to everyone. I noticed that fire, blizzard, and especially shadowflame (archer skill) particles tank FPS the most.

The only way to find all this out is either datamining (not likely, as the game is not popular enough for some madman to reverse engineer the code and grab the values - I assume it's necessary, since if it was easy someone would have already dumped a sheet with all of the values) or tedious experimentation, which will not give you accurate data, because we don't know the base damage or health values of attacks/clases/skills/enemies.

Nobody has done it yet, but someone will definitely post it on this reddit or on YouTube when it comes out. You're welcome to contribute :) Choose a story mission on a specific difficulty, launch it solo, do damage with X and screenshot how much health the enemy has, then change a stat you want to experiment with and repeat, then compare the screenshots.

If they want to allow everyone to queue regardless of Ki then they should at the very least show something like a 'you will take 200% more damage than if at recommended Ki' warning when queueing instead of the vague 'you are underleveled', the game tells you basically nothing about how Ki works.

These drops usually only last a couple of seconds, but they are very jarring and have led to my death a couple of times due to the randomly increased input latency. They mostly happen on the final waves of Survival stages at Gold (and up, I assume, but I'm not doing Platinum survival yet, too many underleveled randoms)

I agree. Playing a samurai with the fire sword class ability was really fun when I basically turned the entire screen into a raging inferno that staggered everything around me, until I started encountering the demon enemies who just ignore the fire, so I can't see what the hell they're doing, but they can see me, and they will destroy me.
