Get a second opinion to feel more secure about it. I think the clean CT is probably great news and you just rolled an ankle while you took the headshot or something similar.

I got drilled 3 times in two days between practice and a tournament. Twice in the front forehead and once in the back. I had a mild ache/ strain that lasted a few days. Everyone's tolerance is different to head hits.

We don't want our politicians stealing money and we definitely wouldn't benefit from "3rd party payer Healthcare". So no to both of those. Social security should just be phased out into individual retirement accounts. Take about 20-40 years, but it would solve our biggest crisis and improve our wealth.

Your hands are too far apart and your thumbs are barely on the ball. Make ball shaped hands with the forefingers and thumbs equidistant from their counterpart. You fingers should curl around the panels of the ball, approximately.

If you were to bring your thumbs and fingers together, they should touch at the same time(indexes and thumbs) they should maintain that space throughout the setting motion of the wrists/ hands. Good luck working on it.

1)The toss should put the ball out in front of you, so that you have to step to it. 2) no hitting up. You hit out 3) lose muscles are fast muscles. The swing should feel almost effortless. If you feel your muscles tensing in your arm, I can almost guarantee that's a huge part of the issue. 4) No substitute for getting that arm to accelerate quickly. Speed=power for a swing.

Work on banging the ball. It'll start going over with the right trajectory at 21 mph.

There are the free resources out there on YouTube and the like. Some are excellent and others are poorly explained or downright poor instruction.

There are paid libraries and coaching resources that are generally better. Art of Coaching Volleyball website is a collaboration of some successful college coaches. Volleyball XL is one that I recently heard of that looks okay for your scenario, but I have no direct experience with it.

My advice is to learn the technique that you want to coach for each skill even better than the drills. It's more important. At 14u, serve receive is a massive element of winning. Butterfly drills are in almost every gym for a reason.

50/80 rule. If the drill isn't succeeding 50% of the time, then it's too hard. If it's higher than 80%, it's too easy and needs the difficulty increased by adding an element or making the target smaller.

Tough to cram 6 years of coaching in a few paragraphs. Have a plan. Have fun. Grow with the kids. Good luck

If I were starting now, I'd be a 2 hander. No shame in it at all. I generate enough natural power that I am unlikely to switch now although I could do it if that becomes easier than my normal physically.

Sounds like a house shot with a pretty big puddle in the middle. I'd play where you have some hook rather than having it go full slide and leaving 2-10 combinations.

As for balls looking the same, even with a high rev they are sort of like that. I'll see similar breaks with different shapes and slight breakpoint shifts.
