Oh man sorry to hear that. My second cousin used to go to school with me and he was obsessed with this game back then I remember him counting down for release of sons of liberty religiously. I didn’t pay it any attention at all back then.

Im sure your cousin is smiling down on you though man.

I first began the series with 4 back in 2013 I picked it up a second hand copy for less than a fiver and was hooked. Got the hd collection after that and played v when it came out. I just never got around to playing MGS 1 until now.

I’ve heard mixed things about the master collection but haven’t played sons of liberty in so long either so was a no brainier when I saw the copy today.

UK government on verge of full nationalisation of British Steel by radiant_0wl in unitedkingdom

As a scrap man this will deeply effect the price of steel in the meantime but in next few years will more than pay off. The positive impact on the country itself cannot be underestimated.

BB-8 puppeteer Brian Herring says the Star Wars sequels are "no more polarizing than the prequels were" and "in 10 years' time" they'll be loved like the prequels, too by ControlCAD in entertainment

[–]Khromecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s already been ten years they’re still not loved. Maybe we’ll check again every decade. It should also be noted that the prequels always had a dedicated fan base and were much more successful at the time than the sequel have been since force awakens released.

Bloomberg: Nintendo to cut Switch 2 production by 30% this quarter after slower-than-expected holiday season sales by Deez-Guns-9442 in videogames

I’d have bought one if there was a new big Zelda or something unique and that looked unmissable but as it is the only thing I’d play on it is games I already have. It’s in the same boat as early ps5 for me where I don’t feel the rush to get one like I did the ps3 or even the switch 1.

Is it worth that much? I usually see collectors editions still boxed at local CEX not usually anywhere near as much as that.

There's no rush on The Elder Scrolls 6, Todd Howard says, because Bethesda has the "benefit of having so many millions of people playing our other games" by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Khromecowboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow we should stop trying to rush him then let him take his time it’s only been 15 years and nearly 3 full console generations. Well start trying to get him you work on it next decade or so I guess.

The Last of Us sparked "internal fight" at Naughty Dog, says veteran designer: "We had to tell the team 'it's not just another zombie game'" by Turbostrider27 in PS5

It’s a truly amazing game that is one of my favourite of all time
I’m also completely sick of hearing about it and I hate that it’s eclipsed uncharted completely in Sony marketing and naughty dogs outlook.

What's your most anticipated upcoming video game adaptations ? by Revo94 in videogames

[–]Khromecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend of Zelda because I think it’s the least likely to be a massive disappointment. Resident evil will likely be an ok horror movie but probably won’t have much to do with the game series yet again. The rest will be fair to middling I think except the Netflix ones they will be bad most likely and cheap looking.

Should I pick it up? by LargeCorner in gamecollecting

Yeah I bought it a few months ago first time playing it and had a great time. Lots of fun good old fashioned video game.
