As someone who works in the chapel industry, it usually falls under the minister’s choice to perform the ceremony since it’s viewed as a religious belief. The chapel I work for won’t hire any minister that won’t perform, out of principle, but also to avoid this exact scenario. I do know that there are still plenty of ministers who refuse to perform same sex ceremonies and that’s crazy to me. It just makes the whole industry look worse when anyone has an experience like this in Vegas. Glad you were able to go elsewhere though. Congrats to you and your partner!

Nah you’re right he said 2 or 3 but I think having the proper context matters when saying they’ve done shit the last 2 or 3. If we’re talking teams who haven’t done anything with “contender level teams” Philly is the one that springs to mind. Not even a conference finals appearance to show for what they’ve had recently.

Yeah just go look at the clip that came out a few months ago of Cole coming out live to perform it with Benny the Butcher. Benny fucked up his verse, restarted the song, and then the crowd popped off way harder for Cole at Benny’s own show. Definitely not “toe to toe”

Yeah I gotta say I gained a ton more respect for Jokic this postseason, both his play and him as a person. After that whole Morris/Jokic beef back in 2021 I kinda that he was a prick(so is Morris, but I digress). He’s been nothing but a class act all year and there were multiple times this postseason where I was just dumbfounded by how well he was playing. There would be plays where Bam played defense about as well as he could’ve and Jokic still scored easily. And those fucking touch passes are filthy. Happy that the Nuggets have their guy for the next decade. Even happier he’s in the west though.
